That has never been in doubt. :)

Can I just say that I don't think he's a prticularly good/great player either..? If he's the future of England football then it's a poor lookout, in my opinion.

Yeah, he's not that talented. His idea of making a forward run is just putting his head down, charging and hoping he doesn't run into anything.

Yep. Reminds me of PES or FIFA [had a game last night]. When I first started playing, many years ago, the first thing I did when I got the ball was run straight at the opposition with it. As we know, that doesn't get you that far.

Bad comparison I know, but one learns. Wilshere doesn't seem to learn.

It's like the Emperor's New Clothes...if you get into a big club as Wilshire has, you can coast and get sold on for big money and no one mentions the fact that you are only average. No wonder the EPL sat up and took notice when we appeared with a bunch of talented (and equally important...hard working) players.

Bell scores a four...now 286-2. Described as 'a sumptuous stroke to the boundary'....got to love cricket commentaries.

I always figured they just had a list of synonyms for "good" in front of them. A particular favourite I remember was "Ooh, a delectable little drive."

He hasn't progressed at all in the past few years. You could almost be forgiven for saying it's a make or break season for him this year, considering the talent that Arsenal have in midfield...

Should never have let India dictate that the appeals system cannot be used. It works very well in cricket. How have they been allowed to opt out of a system used by everyone else?

    Good afternoon Fran .

From what I gather it's not India that dislike the DRS , but is senior players , now that Tendulkar has gone , it is MSD that does not want it .

To have one player dictating is even worse IMHO .

Also the fact India generate 80% of the revenue does not help .

It's so obvious that cricket needs decent technology. In fact I'm not sure you even need an umpire.

    Americans enjoying TMS again.

Oh not this again PL - really it's pretty clear you don't understand the wiles of the oval balled game (despite being an American Football fan) as you think it's devoid of tactics and all purely about who is bigger.

I'd honestly suggest sticking with commenting on Glee etc!

Nice to see him doing a good job down there in Southampton. I suspect Liverpool are readying a bid as we speak.....

A guy from my course at Uni has just finished competing for Wales in the Artistic Gymnastics at the Commonwealth Games. It's like life keeps finding ways of making me feel like I've done nothing.

Don't worry, there are some who reach old age and don't have that thought until they're on their death bed. Feel positive that you have your own built-in wake up alarm.

Have never wanted to achieve anything...yes, I got a good degree and was employed all my life, but my only real interest is in acquiring knowledge. Love facts....Google is my friend...but am bone idle. I could have achieved so much with a little effort...thank God, it never came down to that :)

Your final obstacle is learning to post images on an online forum. :)
