    Best Driver: Ricciardo
Worst Driver: Hulkenberg, he hit his team-mate, hard, nearly took them both out (and possibly did)
Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): erm
Best Team: RBR, covered both bases on the SC and got another win from it.
Worst Team: McLaren, if it had rained they would hve been hailed genius, but it didn't and they aren't.

Best Overtake: I'm torn between the medical car up the inside of the safety car in tricky conditions, Perez on guitierrez under yellows into turn 1 after their wheel to wheel race from the pit, but I will go for either RBR through turn 3/4
Funniest-moment: Jenson on being asked what he intended to do at the start of the race "go fast", well he did, in the begining
Most Surprising Result: so many to choose from I don't think I can, overtaking
Least Surprising Result: Alonso showing why many consider him the best.

Special Mention to: Verne, Massa, Hamilton, Alonso
Race Rating: 9/10 middle was a bit staid, but a grandstand finish.

Best Driver: Alonso - surely he had no right to hold Hamilton off on those tyres?
Worst Driver: Grosjean - losing it under safety car conditions is hard to ignore.
Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): KMag
Best Team: Ferrari - Both drivers made excellent progress, not sure Vettel's strategy was good enough for Red Bull
    Worst Team: Force India

Best Overtake: Hamilton round JEV at turn 4
    Funniest-moment: -
Most Surprising Result: Hamilton ahead of Rosberg - I thought this would be damage limitation

Best Driver: Alonso - Holding up a car 2 seconds a lap quicker for half the race is simply amazing, plus if Ricciardo didn't force Hamilton to make the mistake he'd have won.
Worst Driver: Ericsson, ruined the championship, can't drive.
Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Magnussen
    Best Team: Ferrari
Worst Team: Mercedes pound for pound

    Best Overtake: Ricciardo on Hamilton
    Funniest-moment: None
Most Surprising Result: Sauber were 6th before Guti retired!
Least Surprising Result: Alonso outdrives any car he has.

Special Mention to: Vergne for being 2nd - Gutierrez for having a great race
Race Rating: 8/10 - result was bad but decent racing

Best Driver: Hamilton / Ricciardo, jointly. Alonso was his solid, reliable best but didn't quite eclipse these two in my opinion.
Worst Driver: Several candidates for various reasons but I'll abstain from this one.
    Best Rookie: Magnussen.
    Best Team: Ferrari
    – in terms of improvement.
Worst Team: Force India must be disappointed with the weekend.

    Best Overtake: Hamilton on Vergne.
    Funniest-moment:
Most Surprising Result: Rosberg not extending his Championship lead. Starting from Pole with the best car, with team-mate and main competitor safely tucked away at the back of the field – especially at the Hungaroring – Rosberg couldn't have scripted a more ideal situation. No wonder he's sore…
Least Surprising Result: In a race full of surprises, this is a tricky one! How about Alonso beating Raikkonen? Or Maldonado being involved in a shunt? Or Hamilton getting points? Or Button trying something different with tyres (much to his chagrin on this occasion)? Even Ricciardo beating Vettel from further back on the grid is nothing to write home about now.

    Special Mention to: The marshals.
    Race Rating: 9.3/10

I dont always do these... but what the hell.

    Best Driver:
Ricciardo/Alonso/Hamilton - All three were worthy of the podium.
    Worst Driver:
    Super Maldonado
    Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson):
    K-Mag
    Best Team:
    RBR
    Worst Team:
McLaren. I blame Whitmarsh. Oh hang on......

    Best Overtake:
    Ricciardo on Hamilton/Hamilton on JEV
    Funniest-moment:
McLaren's awkward radio to Button when they realized they'd completely effed up.
    Most Surprising Result:
Rosberg not extending his lead in the title chase/Ricciardo stealing another victory at the death.
    Least Surprising Result:
    Maldonado stoving it.

    Special Mention to:
Vettel for a mega save when he looked like toast/Alonso for keeping that car going on tyres that must have been completely shot.
    Race Rating: 9/10

Best Commentator/Presenter. The illustrious Mr. Buxton. :)

How is that anti Hamilton? That's probably as least anti Hamilton as I could have been.

But Vergne was up to 2nd at one point, before the weather stopped so he's obviously only going to go backwards from there.

To be fair, that wasn't bad for you, though the 2sec a lap quicker bit is bullshit, and has been all season.

As said in other threads, I think Merc were on a wet/dry setup as they didn't have the straightline speed to overtake, which is unusual for them, especially up against Renualt powered cars.

Alonso did indeed do a fine job, though you have to wonder how Ricciardo easily made it past on the straight when the Mercedes couldn't. That's not down to talent etc, that's setup issue. Merc dropped one by being too safe, probably doing an RBR, thinking they'd be out front and wouldn't have to worry about trying to overtake others.

Best Driver: Ricciardo (just), though Alonso runs it very close .
    Worst Driver: Ericsson
Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Magnussen
    Best Team: Red Bull
    Worst Team: Caterham

Best Overtake: Can't pick one out, lots of turn 2 action
Funniest-moment: McLaren realizing they screwed up
Most Surprising Result: Mercedes not being able to overtake on the straights
Least Surprising Result: Vettel getting away with an error, where others crashed

Special Mention to: Top 3, all drove very well
Race Rating: 9/10 - lots of action and no one knew who would win until the very end. Could have been any of the top 4.

I'm surprised a racing instructor gives DoD to a guy that span without any outside interference on the first lap and was then held at bay by a guy with a much slower car.

Best Driver: Alonso - After the first safety car he overtook Vettel, Rosberg and crucially Vergne. After that he kept Hamilton behind for half the race, and did 31 laps on soft tyres. His car was easily slowest of those in top positions, so he is driver of the day.
Worst Driver: Ericsson - worse than Chilton imo.
Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Magnussen
Best Team: Ferrari - best result of the season for both drivers
Worst Team: Mercedes - for team orders, bad results and reliability problems

    Best Overtake: Hamilton on Vergne
Funniest-moment: Hamilton spinning on the first lap
Most Surprising Result: Ferrari competing for a win
Least Surprising Result: Bianchi "sustained a significant amount of car damage, which cost him a lot of downforce" after the Maldonado collision according to John Booth.....he still finished ahead of Chilton.

Special Mention to: Ricciardo - other than a bad start, he was perfect. Hamilton's result looks good on paper but he should have easily passed Alonso. Instead he kept taking a tight line into the final corner, so couldn't get close enough at the end of the straight. Every lap.
    Race Rating: 9/10

Best Commentator/Presenter: Brundle - not that he was good, Croft was just awful

In defence of LH , he span becuase he started from the pits and therefore unlike the rest of the field did not have time to warm up his breaks. As for getting past alonso , I reckon hewould have done it without having to think about defending his position at the same time.

really? I thought it was pure luck it didn't hit the wall (not sure it didn't, it sure looked like it took a tap on the right rear), all you can do is get it straight ASAP and hope it hasn't gone too close to the wall. I think all the drivers out there would've handled it just as well myself, it's not like Mansell in Aus '85.
For me he drove badly, especially at the start, he got away okay then seemed to get nervous and twitchy, I don't think he trusts the car at all.

That is no excuse at this level, he didn't have a great drive, just a great deal of luck.
