I would have thought the club would have said something, it's not like he's a target we don't want others to know about. Although I wouldn't count myself as a fan he was a major part of our success over the last two seasons.

Pretty well the way I saw his stay bob ... he seemed in limbo when being considered last summer and teetered down on the stay side . Funny thing is I think his best play came under Monk ( The only player to , if I may say without starting a war ) , Monk said he wanted him to stay ... hard one to figure but like you say , he wasnt the catalyst by any means...re read post , you think De Guzman was a "catalyst " of sorts .... oops .. we will have to agree to dis agree ..lol

What's really funny is that Phillip was there outside the Wig and Pen, in his "special" blue hat, cheering and applauding the League Cup trophy parade.
Full of praise for Laudrup he was.
Months later he's sticking the knife in.
A year later and he's only got scorn for him.

That's the measure of the boy

We've declined a third year on loan as we want to buy him outright perhaps. :emoticon-0100-smile

Yes let's throw darts at the guy who scored eight goals for us last season. <laugh>

Some of our fans make me laugh. Completely clueless. This one also has the tendency to see which way the wind is blowing before going with the flow. Well spotted terror.

swansea really need midfielders. de Guzman is so versatile with no real big weaknesses, elegant to watch, swansea should pay up to 8 million for him imo

Valley - name a player in our team with no weaknesses. The point being made by jonas was that he had "no real big" weaknesses, not that he had none.

JDG was an asset to us last season. The stats tell us that and what I saw tells me that. For some reason JDG inspires outright hatred in some fans but frankly they simply don't know what they're talking about - and this forum is ample evidence of that too.

Van Gaal is no fool, and like it or not JDG was in the squad that got to the semis of a WC final. He may have played one game but was one of the better performers in that game. What do our fans say? "JDG not good enough to play for Holland".

Utter ****e. One of my mates and I were chatting the other day and we've both come to the cnclusion that ufortunately the majority of Swans fans don't have a ****ing clue.
