You probably wouldn't get too far......he'll probably beat the s*** out of ya for taking a wrong turn
Osvaldo has had a pretty good career overall. He's certainly not a lost cause and could be good for a top team.
Found this, seems a number of clubs were after him, Stoke being one of them. I was pretty sure somebody had a fee and terms agreed, but failed him because of the heart problem, but the article doesn't mention it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...heart-defect-ending-Premier-League-hopes.html
I remember that, I just thought he failed a medical at Stoke because of dodgy knees. I must have dreamt it up.
Only player I can recall Stoke turning down because of his knees was Ba, who then went to West Ham, but I might be wrong about Remy

What are people's thoughts on all the links to centre midfielders? Clasie, Fer and Onazusi (sp) have all been linked And given Koeman's 4-3-3 system for the 3 we have: Morgan (looking like he could leave) Wanyama Cork Davies JWP Reed Gaston Seems overkill? Perhaps he doesn't rate Cork as much as the fans do as he seems to be after genuine box to box players who are equally comfortable in a holding position. central position and number 10 type position. The ones who don't fit that are Gaston and probably Cork... Maybe that is why there has been a delay in a new deal?
Scott Sinclair just scored an excellent goal for Man City against Milan. Was there real interest from us, in him?
It's funny, but in all the to-ing and fro-ing, I expected Gaston to be out the door in a heart beat. I suppose I believed the hype about him. As it stands so far, he's been one of the most constant of the remaining players who could look to be out-the-door candidates, and theee are few of those left. So [for now] fair play to him. Jack Cork I like more and more. I liked him when he was with us in the Championship the first time round, and although he was away at Burnley and other places for our League One sojourn, I was very glad to have him back from then on. He's never struck me more than a humble honest player who is just glad to be playing. I hope Saints don't screw Jack around because his kind are worth their weight, and he is a very good player indeed. Of course if either demands to leave before the transfer window closes then I take back all I said. And if Beefy's source knows anything to that effect, don't tell me.
It was an Adkins thing. Couldn't get on the West Brom bench last year even when they had zero strikers, which probably says enough.
