That's usually the case. It's amazing what effect a bad start can have. Then changing the manager can improve things or make it worse. It's also so dependent on who strengthens well. In other words, nobody has a clue right now!
Having said that, Steve Bruce and the Allams seem to work well together re team building. The one worry I have is Curtis Davies. I don't agree with Bruce when he said there's 6 others in a similar position. Davies was the stand out over last season with McGregor second. I'd give both of them pay rises. Doesn't McGregor's contract end after the coming season?
Mick Channon was talking about mercenary's but, within reason, I would tend to go where I can get more money . Moving is always a risk but if you can double your wages it is usually worth taking.
