Interesting, I'd heard higher. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Looks like the north stand move wasn't anything like as popular as the club had been lead to believe. Let's hope they learn and get better advice on what fans want in the future. Whoever informed that opinion is playing their part in the demise of the matchday experience.
The first of the fans forums is tonight, so I might find out the actual numbers later, though I haven't been invited myself.
A fans forum that few knew was happening or know who's on it. Oh aye, that's got 'representative' and 'success' written all over it. Talk about token gestures.
I would never have thought we'd have so much trouble in selling season passes given our on the field success. It's astonishing.
Yeah I replied before reading the second page. Thought this summer spending and a Europa League campaign would have pushed your sales even higher to be honest. Didn't you have around 18k last season? Also, how much have yours gone up by? I thought you would be one of the next clubs to expand their stadium to be honest. Can see us doing it too.
It would appear according to the supporters meeting, we are only 900 short of season ticket sales of last season. The club also expect more to sign up before the start. If those figures are correct, then all the talk about fans walking away is rubbish. Perhaps a lot of supporters will be picking the matches they wish to attend, it is likely though that the deals for youngsters has added to the home support. It will be interesting to see the final figures before the first home game. Europa league, two Wembley trips, a top class manager ,what more could fans wish for!
Problem is you don't want to end up like Wolves where you think you have established yourself in the Prem and then get relegated after doing the stadium up
And yet for thousands of people, something deters them. Maybe the club isn't being marketed properly?
I'm not bring funny but if west london is a hell hole , then what does that make your poverty striken , sponger capital of Britain , number one for fat and ugly people and all round dump that I wouldn't let my dog crack a **** on incase his arse caught something !!!! , hull wow ... Hull the only good thing to come out if hull was the only fools and horses episode to hull and back , apart from that forgettable! Can u lot even afford the travel down here ?
Think they are referring to the ground not the actual area and if we are being honest it is a dump for a Premier league side.
Christ, I didn't realise you inbreds even had your own board. Shouldn't you be brown nosing over on Leicester's? Where do we start with Hull Tigers... Indisputably the worst owner in world football- representing everything that's wrong with the modern game. You've been financially doped beyond recognition, and are now a soulless billionaire's plaything. He's spunked his cash on garbage like ince/Snodgrass, and unbelievably; shelled out 8(eight) million for Jake Livermore. What happens when he decides he really does want you all to "die", and bails out? That said, all this is very befitting of officially the most diabolical place in England: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4136342.stm Your accent should be piped into the cells on death row. It'd save the yanks some cash when the inmates take their own lives Also, wtf is this limp-wristed bollocks? You're grown men- this is embarrassing. Growl at anyone in shepherd's bush on the 16th and you'll have your handbags nicked. I'd only heard of Hull because of your rugby team until recently- and even then (representing the town in microcosm), you're a poor man's Wigan. *Pre-empting your special furry forum friends' arrival any second
Have the drama queens ever had anything original, accurate or funny to say? People stopped churning out the tired old clichés, years back, one they realised they looked stupid doing it. Let's face it, DQPR exist in a place where the most notable feature was a sheep herders bush ffs. No wonder they regularly get picked as the biggest nobheads on football forums. Maulled, still catching the thick and unwary. Proud as **** of it, but the ones it's aimed at will never understand why.
You mad bro? The last time you were in this league, it was really nice of you to show everybody how NOT to survive relegation. Great job!
Hull tigers ........ Says it all, didn't even have the bolloks to stand up for your teams name That sounds pathetic some marketing bullshit getting bent over by the owner . You must be ashamed surely to be called that any one would think your some naff rugby league side ...
Let me get this straight: a DQPR fan, of all people, is mocking us for our board, owner and overspending. Let's just take a few seconds to let that sink in, shall we? A DQPR fan taking another club's fans to task over those three things? That's a hooped pot talking to a kettle right there. Our board: 548k posts. DQPR's board: 393k posts. As for embarrassing owners, is it really so long since the Briatore era that you can dare to criticise other owners without fear of comeback? (Answer, in case you were wondering: no.) On to overspending: Chris Samba: £12.5m SWP: £6.5m Matt Phillips: £5m And many, many others, mainly on sky-high wages (*cough LAUNDERING*).
