Gylfi having a medical

So we talk about an article that claimed £2.5m, yet your saying we should instead believe another article that has since claimed £4.5m.

The debate was more that it would be shocking IF the £2.5m fee that some claimed was true. Because Vorm is worth more than £2.5m in the eyes of many of us.

There is also an article in the Daily Mail that claims:

So which should we believe, yours that says £4.5m, or the daily mail which would be as little as £1.5m for Vorm (Davies valued at £10m, Siggy valued at £8m) its all about debate and discussion. Or the one that claimed £2.5m?

The first fee that was claimed was of £2.5m, which is where the discussion and debate comes from, forgive us for talking about something found in an article that isn't the article you linked. Please forgive us.

How can we start a discussion about something that didn't even exist at the time......shock horror.

 

I don't mind siggy joining us but not at the expense of Davies and vorm who in my opinion we have let go for peanuts whichever figure you choose to use. Fair play to spurs for mugging us and achieving a better deal. We could have and should have got more for both players and we should have fought harder to keep Davies with him being a LB and a much sort after position that really good ones are hard to find, We now have to rely on Taylor and hope he don't get injured. We have been well and truly mugged..

On this deal Levy bent us over, hammered the **** out of us, ****ed our arses and gave us a facial...then while we were in the bathroom washing the spunk off our face he'd phoned us a taxi and sent us through the door with a smack on our arse...

Depends on the reports you want to believe and there are many conflicting reports.

I have read some where we sold Ben for £10 million, bought Gylfi for £8 million and sold Vorm for £4.5 million. That makes it, Gylfi and £6.5 million for Ben and Vorm. I think it's a pretty good deal, if it were the case.

 

Surely,the only "reports" that matter state that all the individual fees are "undisclosed". Consequently,all the "in the know" details of the transfers are simply made up/speculation,and have no credibility.

 

Agree, which is why I don't understand the criticism being thrown at Huw when nobody knows the disclosure of the deals.

 

I never understood why Michael Laudrup was being constantly criticised,and pilloried on this forum. Some people just need opportunities to criticise for criticising sake,I guess.

 

There's only a couple of people who've criticised Laudrup on here.

Whereas there's probably at least half a dozen (including yourself) who've taken snipes at the Huw and Monk using words and phrases like "Chump", "Amateurs", "Failed Businessman".

People who've served the club so well over such a long time deserve more respect.

 

Laudrup deserved criticism for our poor form, strange selections and performances just like he was rightly praised for his first season.

Some clearly feel that Jenkins should now bear some criticism for the recent transfer dealings with Spurs'. He has also been "rightly praised" for previous dealings.

 

But they are in the wrong

That said if it was only £2.5 million for Vorm then the criticism would be justified.

First up what abuse, the fact he thinks your post is foolish and incorrect. Thats not abuse. Or that he has claimed you have posted venomous comments, which seeing as you have accused someone without proof, would seem he would be right as things stand.

So do the right thing and prove your right, provide proof, either that, or it would seem Vetch would be well within his rights to say what he did.

I expect to see quotes of Vetch, calling any member of the board, or the manager, a "chump", "Amateurs" or "Failed Businessman".

In which case, you can continue. If not, you will apologise. Please don't be like half the others on here who like to make a claim, but not back it up with proof. And if you cannot, then don't be like them, who tend to run away, and instead apologise.

And if you can provide proof, then I can only hope that Vetch would apologise, as he would be incorrect then.
