It will be interesting to see how Southampton get on, the sales haven't finished yet with Lovren linked with Liverpool and Fonte with Cardiff (We should sign Fonte, looks a decent centre half). They have a pretty big rebuild job ahead of the start of the new season.
They can afford to splurge that much on a future prospect, I guess. Some people think Chambers will end up at CB anyway eventually. twt.

It should be Phil jones, such a quality young lad, he just needs to be played in a position and left to learn it properly. Haven't forgotten how good a centre half he was for Blackburn, the lad has world class potential and needs to be allowed to fulfil it.
Fergie certainly rates Jones and he's not a bad judge of player. He doesn't throw around praise too much.
Completely agree re Jones. People who say he's **** are either just jumping on the bandwagon, or know nothing at all about football. Smalling...... well that's another matter entirely
I like Jones a lot , he has a bit of the David Luiz in him , but not so self inflicted as he is played out of his position
Although I agree, Fergie also rated Smalling, Cleverley and Bebe. Just saying.... using Fergie isn't a be all end all.
