Bruce post match yesterday

I envisage a signing in the next day or so.

 

I have a feeling that Bruce wants a fair few more signings yet, he mentioned up to 3 defenders alone in the interview!

 

What a great bloke he comes across as, I know it's been said before but still...

 

You always get a good honest interview from Brucie.

 

Been said many times before but Brucey is a brilliant interview. Honest, friendly, engaging, keeps the fans informed and with a gentle but very firm put down to Curtis Davies and his agent. Superb interview.

Yet a certain cum guzzler yearns for a flat headed ****.

 

Pretty much 3 defenders and 1 midfielder.

He says he doesn't want a striker but I feel if he does sign the four positions above them his attention would turn to a striker.

 

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, it was interesting to hear Brucey quote the £2M figure that we'd agreed with Dundee United, slightly wide of the £3M mark that has mostly been quoted elsewhere.

It was annoying when he nicked Michael Turner, but now he's on our side...

Knows how to handle the media, lower expectations, play down bad results (and good results) so that pressure does not build up around him and the players. Flatters the flaskers into thinking he's sharing his thoughts and plans with them.

 

You forgot to add, stops the rest of us replying the interview just to make sure we heard him right, and to work out whether that noise was Burns taking a sharp intake of breath.

 

Great interview from Bruce. Honest and upfront about the situation.

Bruce is unhappy with Curtis "going public" regarding his want of an improved contract. He said he knows he had a great season, but so did a lot of others.

He also said it would take a huge offer,before the club would even think of selling.

 

But he didn't accuse Curtis of making it public, he mentioned CD's agent.

 

Yep true !

 

But Davies did go public with it Kempton.
