The USA seems to be 'getting soccer' so this story might have legs. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...us-crews-gregg-berhalter-mum-potential-transf "One of those players rumored to be interested in a return to MLS is national team forward Jozy Altidore, whose disappointing spell with Sunderland in England has prompted speculation of a move back home."
Posted this in the altidore thread yesterday. Columbus crew have just gained some allocation for a designated player or some nonsense like that. Apparently they like the look of him. Not fussed either way to be honest.
dont think so, his first touch is crap, cant score we take the piss out of Graham but he is worse if he ever scores it will be a mistake on his part
And silent, deadly butt But if he goes, he goes. Doesn't offer enough from what we've seen to make his 6m fee and apparent £2.2m a year wage
Steady on mate ............ I know he hasn't been great but I don't believe you're still allowed to that.
I find it odd that there are many on here worried about losing a striker who makes Heskey look prolific.
Because although he didn't score last year he did bring a lot to the table. Anyway, this debate has been done to death, some people can't see past the fact he didn't score many goals last year, which is understandable considering he's a striker.
Get shot of him while we have a chance to get something back, and free-up his wages for someone who deserves being paid.
Mate, you were very vocal in your support for us signing him when I said he wasn't good enough! He's a good player low on confidence, he deserves at least half a season. If we sell him mind, I won't lose sleep, but I'm happy for him to stay. 100%.
