The best airports I've been to are Shanghai Changi airport and Munich airport. Hong Kong and Singapore are good too. On the whole Eastern Asia is decent airport wise from my recollection.
Moscow Domodedovo. About and hour in a queue to get to front of Arrivals Customs. And there were about 8 or 9 parallel queues.
19. I'm lucky. Having relatives living in other countries helps I suppose. Usually when I go on holiday I go to multiple countries in one go. This site is a good way to show what countries you've been to: http://www.traveltip.org/countries_visited.php please log in to view this image
Sounds like JFK, even though I had an express transfer ticket. They just kept shuffling me from 3rd from the front of one queue to 3rd from the front of a different queue.
Sorry about that, I didn't realise there was a specific time on it. I sometimes change youtube links to embedded videos just to save people a click before finding out whether they're interested in it or not. I was also interested in seeing which way the thread was going based on what you quoted so wanted to see what video it was, and thought I'd kill two birds with one stone.
As regards to Humberside Airport's lack of expansion I think the previous owners were not very active in that department. Manchester Airport Group (MAG) were the owners for quite a while and except for the installation of a second baggage carousel and a sprucing up of the duty free area precious little seems to have been done. Shame really only 25/30 mins and home after a flight.
why does being at an airport mean everything is twice the price you'd find it anywhere else. (Aside from McDonald's) The last time I was leaving the uk I put a 200ml aftershave (unopened) in my hand luggage and I had to bin it as it was over 100ml. I was fairly unimpressed by the communist style customs lady who wouldn't let me through with it despite it been in the cellophane wrapping and me offering to open it to show her it actually was aftershave and not some other dastardly liquid Good topic to discuss as I ****ing hate airports
Just to be clear here, have you actually been in those countries, and stayed a night? I think that should be the minimum that constitutes "visited". Or are we using the other approach adopted on here by some fans of other clubs and saying if you've seen it on the TV, you've been there, live? Oh and Syd, I find it really hard to believe anyone would a) not know the rules concerning liquids b) not understand why they're in place and c) complain about long queues when they're trying circumvent the rules causes checks to take longer and thus holds everyone else up...
I wonder if AKCJ watches a lot of sci-fi films - just imagine the places he'd claim to have seen live! I can't count Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand or UAE among my countries visited, despite having spent time at major airports there between connections.
