Now 5-0 to the Horns. 2 goals from Christian Battocchio within 2 mins of each other. Now in the 79 Min.
Oh srry BB - and thanks. I thought there was a tweet which said thanks for the congratulations on his move and he'd confirm it later - or words to that effect! I'm a bit slow today evidently
"Watford seem to be playing a fluid 4-4-2 (or 4-2-3-1). Vydra & Deeney up front, Battocchio left, Fabbrini right. All interchanging though." That sounds like fun.
Anya, Ranegie ,OG, Battocchio x 2 Dyer and Anya would frighten the life out of anyone with their pace and there was some excellent team work albeit against a side who hardly got stuck. Lots of changes at half time - Battocchio came on and got 2 goals whilst Deeney got a great reception of course. Keith Andrews, Gomes and Tamas looked solid enough whilst Bond made a decent save at the end. Fabbrini came on - tried to fall over a bit and missed a great chance.
Belkalem off to join his former manager? http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._leave_Watford___with_Trabzonspor_interested/
Does anyone know where the game against Coventry on Wednesday is being played ? - the only info I've found is that it's at a neutral venue.
It's at Borehamwood... http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/140730-watford-v-boreham-wood-tickets-on-sale-1759764.aspx
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...i_expected_to_resume_light_training_tomorrow/ I think he will have quite a battle to get a regular start this season when you look at the players available.
I suggest that he will be the season's "Super-sub". As the Yanks say, a "left field" option for when the orthodox isn't working......
