    I know you're playing devil's advocate here FLT, but in my mind Katherina has made two fundamental errors so far in her stewardship. First one was not finding some way of working with NC moving forwards (I don't believe a way couldn't be found). Second one was Krueger.

    Sure but it's making it trickier to buy above our station, that's undeniable.

    I just hope RK's sway with the Classies, Van Dijks and De Vrijs of this world proves to be rather spectacular. It may well do so.

    So why didn't he stay then? She's be gone and he's still remain as the key figure at the club. If that was me I'd want to meet the new potential owners and see if they matched my ambition.

    Or are we choosing to ignore the media reports that said she wanted him to stay?

    She may well be wanting to sell, I am not doubting that bit at all.

    Personally don't think this is the right deal for the club or Chambers to be honest. I'm not sure he's ready for a big move and certainly won't be an Arsenal starter like Shaw will be at United, and surely he'd be worth much more in a season's time!? Plus the PR damage is surely not worth it?

    Because the chances of any new owner giving him the same power would be quite low. His position would have been "things stay the same or I walk".
