    Yes, but I don't think they necessarily offer greater wages and also the players there would be no less drawn to an Arsenal/Liverpool/City/United or any CL team than ours would, surely?

    We are a notch down from Everton imo. It is just a end of a era for us(which I said a few months ago). I am gutted but as long as I still have a club I will support them. Bringing Koeman in also helps me keep faith. No meltdown for me I am afraid.

    Just **** our board. Seriously. I know we can't know for sure what's been going on and which rumours are true and which aren't, but there's been too much **** about lack of communication and players feeling disrespected for it to be completely off the mark. They drove out a man who had a ton of respect from the players and this is related, it's not coincidental. The initial story, which the BBC backed, was that Katharina wanted to take control of the club in order to sell it, and that still makes too much sense to me not to be on the money. She inherited this club just like she inherited her wealth, so she has neither experience nor passion for this. Appointing Krueger was a piss-poor piece of business. Just hurry up and do your damage and get out please.

    Still think we'll be a PL club in 5 years, I just don't think we'll break into the Champions league, certainly not for a very very long time, which is unfortunately what a lot of us feel we were promised. Saints will always be my team, and as disappointing as this summer has been, next season will be an adventure just as interesting as last.

    It was said on saintsweb (I know I know) a couple of days ago that we are looking to sell to a Chinese consortium ......maybe she is taking money before selling? I am normally positive but alarm bells are starting to ring.

    Yes, getting there too in quick time Beef. Would be nice to hear a 'no' now and again though, or to be surprised by Morgan staying to lead La Revolution.

    I agree of course we're a step down from Everton, I just think that CL teams are as attractive to their players as ours, should they come calling.
