    I was always in ,E3

When the juniors decided they wanted a season pass each the only place in East Stand with 3 seats together was E1

Why would I go in the South Stand when I stand up ??? Chances are I would get thrown out .

My. View of the south stand goal will be better near top in North Stand.

I also like the idea of being behind the goal like I use to be at boothferry park like when my dad use to take me as a nipper.

Going back to tradition though in those days we often changed ends at half time as did loads of fans

Just seems odd you're delighted to be behind the goal, when you've had the option for years.

At the moment, nobody is taking responsibility for the decision. Fans being fans will make best of it, despite how obviously and predictably unpopular it is. You watch some come forward then saying they knew it would work.

I know several long standing fans that haven't renewed, and the stand move was a major part of that decision. They would like a serious word with who ever's idea it was.

is the atmosphere at the kc so bad anyway?

look at all the success we've had with the fans in that area, most successful period in the club's history, it's hardly like it's being a disadvantage to the team, people say that pearson etc wanted the move.. but it's no coincidence that after last seasons protests against the name change and the like, that the move has happened

i'm in n1, it wasn't practical for me to move in the initial window, gutted

It was the rest of the ground that needed bucking up. They've pissed about with the noisy bit, seemingly to benefit one small group at the back of E2. I didn't mind them too much, but I know that some had already moved away from them.

the ultras seem to be the only ones happy with the move and they got in early to claim their seats.

    I stand dmd.

Like I said I doubt if those behind me would have liked it IF I had been in the south stand

Plus the occasional curse at the ref / linesman / other teams players .

I do also have this hope that one day the North Stand might become a standing area .

If that's the case, they should put their name forward for the Fans' Working Group. They wouldn't be able to speak to Steve Bruce who wanted home fans behind the goal, but James would be able to discuss it as I believe he oversaw the details of the move.

I agree there's been plenty to moan about, but people should take the opportunity to discuss it with the club when it's offered.

Haven't the club wanted home fans in the North Stand for some time ? Adam Pearson tried to make it happen ages ago .

People are going to stop going because of a seat move ??

Price increase I can understand but not because of moving seats .

Still it's up to them really

Not going to, they have. The seat move and lack of consultation was the final straw. It's not just about sitting in a different seat or getting a worse view.

No IF about it. They DID put there name forward and heard nothing.

This about Steve Bruce asking for it, is misleading at best, and James will simply tell people what he thinks they want to hear. People HAVE taken the opportunity to discuss it with the club, but were not at all impressed with the 'answers', if they got any at all, as some got no reply, and others have had to push and push.

To think people just 'moan' without taking it further is dismissive, if not insulting. The club have handled a bad situation appallingly, and they're not on their own in helping fans feel detatched.

It would appear that the club have sold over 15,000 season cards already and wont be far away from last seasons figure. Ticket office say that further applications still have to be processed. Good news indeed. <ok>

    Ok, Barnsley now. :emoticon-0103-cool:

I'm in E6 and have been since the KC opened because as pass holders at BP (on Bunkers) we had first choice. I've sat in South stand a few times and it's rubbish, both for view and atmosphere, and if the club informed me they were moving me and I had no choice in the matter I wouldn't go. Match day enjoyment is much more than just the quality of the football on the pitch.
