Today is a casual day at work and I forgot about it. I believe that casual days should be banned because of the pressure to one up workmates to look 'cooler'. Who agrees?
You look cool in your work clothes today. It looks like you're saying "Hey, I don't need to try and look cool, I'm cool enough to pull off wearing work clothes"
Are you all wearing your club colours and carrying your "You've Just Been Bushwhacked" calling cards?
I agree. Bad enough I look like a ****ing tramp on the weekend, I'm supposed to let my work colleagues see it during the week?
we do a casual friday, only bother if i dont have any work shirts/cant be arsed ironing on thursday night. dont really understand how people get so excited about wearing jeans. i did propose a dress up friday, top hats and tails for the gentlemen, cocktail dresses for the ladies but like the "vicars and whores friday"no one went for it
I'm in IT, there's only been one place I've worked where we had to dress semi-smart i.e. shirt and trousers normally, suited if meeting clients. Hate wearing suits especially in this heat.
dont really understand how people get so excited about wearing jeans ================================================ Wearing Jeans at work is the best! I want people to look over as I enter the office and go "Wow! That guy looks the bomb in his jeans. I want to get to know him, he's a cool looking guy"
Cheers I always wanted to work for a company who made a difference in people's lives and instead I work for a company robbing people of their money.
And tie ties around your head like Rambo? Another reason I'm against casual days is that I love office worker women. All prim and proper in their trousers and blouses. I love watching them walk to work in the morning through the streets. I love when they take their jackets off in the warm weather. I have half a teacake just writing this.
