No they are not, The SMC is the SMC which holds the lease to the stadium & then hires it out to it's customers Hull City Council Education Services are a customer Hull FC are a customer Hull City AFC is a customer having the same owner DOES NOT MAKE IT THE SAME COMPANY
Stop talking tripe and open your eyes/take you blinkers off. Rugby season ends in October with the pitch normally looking in an ok state. Then look at it again in January (Before the RL season even starts) and it looks dog eared. The evidence show you are talking bull s...
Football pitches in the Premiership are generally all in great condition. Ours probably being one of the worst in the league. The only difference between us and the other Premiership teams is that we share our pitch with another club who play a different sport. I don't hate either rugby team and wish them both well but they do seem to effect the pitch quite a lot.
Not any more. Corporate members now pay Hull City, not the SMC and we are leaving FC to make their own corporate arrangements.
Hull City Council have shut their offices at the KC. The SMC is owned by the Allam's and is run for the benefit of Hull City, they don't give a **** about FC, in fact they like to piss off AP as often as possible.
really wish we didnt have to share the stadium/pitch. It would be nice to see the team colors covering the outside of the stadium.
Swansea ground share with a rugby team, as do Reading, Wigan, Huddersfield etc, they don't seem to have so many problems(other than maybe Huddersfield where it never stops raining).
Like I said look at the pitch in October/September (Rugby season ends) and the look at it in December/January (Before it starts again). Rugby isn't the issue as due to grass actually growing in summer the pitch is able to cope with 1 RL game and 1/2 Football games in 2 weeks. In winter when the grass isn't growing it takes a complete kicking from us.
LOL You say fat bastards with tongue in cheek I think? I Aint seen many if any Fat players in Super League these days.
Think you need to check your facts pal, it was already reported last year how much City have to subsidise the egg chasers.
Also, Swansea share with a rugby team which plays the proper game with contested scrums, loose mauls etc which cause more damage to a pitch than rugby lite. The fact that the union season runs all through the winter alongside the football when the weather is at its worst and their pitch looks alright suggests the problem is more to do with our pitch than the rugby team.
