There's nothing good about Facebook , crap ices of poorly kids I don't know , crap thought provoking quotes and videos of things amazing cats do to protect their owners
Like someone said above, a lots been said about his attacking but not a lot about his defending. Can you give us an insight on his defending. Thanks for the best wishes and enjoy the ride
I highly rate him defending. It's always good having a left back who is incredibly good at attacking and defending, I don't remember him making a costly mistake in the slightest last season and he's been excellent in the pre-season friendly matches that i've seen him. He's only 20 and has became the starting left back for Scotland which is a rather good achievement. I don't think you've got anything to worry about regarding him and I think his style will suit your strikeforce. Robertson is such a commandable player for United which makes it even more devastating as he's always shouting at players in the team. I was almost certain he would have been the next captain. I still think 2m is a bargain for a player of his ability and I don't think United fans have been gutted about losing a player like this in a while. Hopefully he's able to start before Danny Rose.
Thank God. Robertson at half the price is a far better acquisition. Would expect him to be our starting LB once he's settled in. Exciting young player with a brilliant future if he stays healthy.
He never once got injured last season and I think he only missed one game through injury. He made a massive step from the bottom league in Scotland to the Spl last year and was voted young player of the year , United Player of the season was voted in the SPL Team Of The Year. As I said I do think he will fit in perfectly at Hull and I believe that his purchase will be great for Jelavic and Long. I'm still interested to know what the add-ons are for Robertson as It's 2million upfront. We rejected three bids from West Ham last week so it wouldn't surprise me if West Ham attempted one last ditch attempt now that we've accepted a deal from Hull.
Before last season Chester hadn't missed a game for us then had three hammy injuries, so we're not counting our chickens in regards to injuries with anyone. But seriously excited for this kid.
Almost all of our add-ons the last 2 seasons have had to do with promotion or avoiding relegation. I do think Quinns was based off appearances but I doubt that is what you are looking at with this one. I would expect that this one will be no different to most of our others and will be paid to you if we avoid relegation.
Yeah likely clauses to do with relegation, and also sell-on. Maybe 30-40% of any sell-on fee? I'd expect they'd want quite a bit.
So who can you believe anymore? http://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/sport/dundee-united/hull-city-drop-out-of-the-race-for-dundee-united-defender-1.488839
They've ran this story and the one where we've had a bid accepted. http://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/sport/dundee-united/dundee-united-agree-3m-fee-with-hull-city-for-andrew-robertson-1.490577
They currently have two articles running, one where the bid is accepted and one where it is rejected. I don't think I'll listen to them. Seems a bit like the HDM.
I agree Figgy looks better as a centre back than LB, this showed in the World Cup, whereby he had a decent tournament. He is like Macca, always looked out of place at RB, but much more comfortable at CB.
It's like that twitter page that claimed FIFA is corrupt and posted all possible outcomes to the world cup final and deleted the ones that didn't happen haha.
How much have you seen of him Brady? Is he as good as the Dundee fans are saying. On another note, Allan McGregor was sat behind me in Nandos the other day.
