seems to be a lot of talk about this vidal player, anyone got any clips of him so i can see what we wont be getting lol any truth in it and it happens some how, i am guessing will be our last bit of business, at that price must surely mean all the luis money would have gone.
We've spent what, £60m so far? This was our reported budget (I know, reported doesn't always equate to factual but it's all we have) We received £75m for Suarez and let's say approx £25m from sales (tbc) would leave £100m!!! That's Lovren (£20m) Bertrand (£8m) Origi (£10m) = £38m We may still have up to £62m left to spend!! If accurate, we could but Vidal AND Hummels just to piss the mancs off
sure anything could happen but.... lovern, bertrand, hummel, vidal.. could all be considered defensive players (vidal can play anywhere in midfield mind) thats in line with my thought
so i was right then as i don't see £25 mill in sales sadly or did i include it, a team is whining about paying £3 mill odd for reina ffs. who do we have of value and hopefully get rid? Lucas,Agger, reina, coates off the top of my head, don't see it there, and Borini wont leave i don't reckon. although anything to piss the mancs off is a result, hope we get both somehow lol.
You heard it from me and it's kosher. 60 mill PLUS all proceeds from player sales. That's what Rodgers has to spend
It's mentioned on the BBC gossip column, the source is the Metro Liverpool hope to beat Manchester United to Arturo Vidal transfer with £42.5m bid Liverpool are hoping to hijack Manchester United’s move for Juventus star Arturo Vidal by matching their £42.5million bid for the player. United have made Vidal their top transfer target this summer and reports today suggested that the club were confident of landing him with a mega bid. However, the Chilean press now report that Liverpool have firmly entered the race for the player and are set to lodge an offer worth £42.5million. El Mercurio says Real Madrid are also in for the player but don’t have the funds to make a deal happen, leaving just Liverpool and United in the race. The Reds have the advantage of offering Champions League football, which could prove to be pivotal in the race for the player. Love the bit at the end
But we could make them pay more In reality, we wouldn't enter a bidding war. Our maximum bid will be equal to their minimum
Borini (£14m), Assaidi (£7m), Reina (£5m), Agger (£10m), Kelly (£4m).....I could speculate some more but I reckon we'll easily get £25m IF Borini goes
To who...? We obviously want rid and Napoli know it. Napoli have signed other keepers too haven't they so they don't "need" him.
Yeah same. Not what he once was but still a quality keeper with a lot of experience and relatively young for a keeper too.
I think it is more to do with nobody wanting a flappy keeper that becomes very unloyal and drops his panties as soon as the word 'Barcelona' is mentioned.
Was he really that flappy? Sure he made a few mistakes in his last season with us but was it really anymore than Migs made? Not sure on his performances in Italy tbh.
