http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...m_they_didn_t_lose_13_0_to_canaries_1_3698757 You boys really should stop this, basically you boys are now bigging up a bunch of olive growers!
I would have thought you would have sussed something was wrong when matthew kelly from stars intheir eyes was ref, and elvis and lord lucan were the linesmen.
this tour has been an absolute farce but its all been in the hands of the travel/organising company so the club must be feeling very embarrassed and let down by this. its certainly not doing our preparation any good. i smell a law suit coming from mr mcnally over this.....
According to this: http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...of_bastia_friendly_with_shin_injury_1_3699312 it looks like Hooper will be the only striker available against Bastia. Redmond up front as well?
There is only 1 joke im laughing at and it ain't one of mine, seriously guys what an absolute bloody cock up. At least it can't get any worse can it?
Imagine if we beat Ipswich despite being THIS unprepared. Now that would be funny. Ps. How's the academy going? Surely that's a balls up to conquer our tour of sunny Italy? Looks like you've tried to scrape in on the cheap (surprise surprise) and misjudged it. Not very professional is it?
tbh supers, if we tried to scrape it on the cheap we would have missed out by more than 0.3%, roughly translated we missed out by 2 brown envelopes. i have heard we will look at what we fell down by and see if there is a chance to appeal as most of it is subjective anyway.
In terms of preparation, Mark Robson has been quite articulate in what Adams, Holt and himself are aiming for: “I think first and foremost as players you want to enjoy what you do. I would hate to come into training as a player and there is no real reason or method to it. Everything we do has a tempo to it because the main aim for us is to re-produce how we want to play into those sessions so the players understand and it becomes almost second nature. There are no grey areas. I hope the players are enjoying it, certainly the staff are.”
interesting. so you're saying that every club who has achieved category one status did so by bribing officials? not sure you should really be saying that. you missed the 'bare minimum requirement' by 0.3%. if that doesn't scream 'trying to get there on the cheap' i don't know what does. the standards are laid out in front of clubs plain and clear so to fail is appalling. norwich passed by almost 10% and we were said to be 'touch and go' for a long while. you tried to achieve the bare minimum standard. that is one almighty **** up baring in mind your own fans were asked to donate money to the cause and now you're going to have to wait at least one more year before you can reapply. no getting away from the fact our tour to italy has resulted in a little embarrassment and more importantly a lack of preparation for the season ahead (not necessarily through any fault of the club) but the ipswich screw up over the academy is way worse and more costly. major, major embarrassment for ipswich town. the only person i feel sympathy for is bryan klug - he didn't deserve that. your owner, however, does.
I did say roughly translated! basically it is a closed shop, you boys were in the right place at the right time to get it. fact of the matter is we missed by 0.3% if we were doing it on the cheap it would have been 13.3%, and a lot of the stuff to get a mark is subjective so there is grey area's that i would hope we were given the chance to look at before being declined, which i doubt. either way, i would rather have good staff as cat 2 rather than **** at cat 1.
