    Good Morning Everyone,

Just when you thought things were bad for Leeds Utd, spare a thought for Blackpool...

    Thoughts?

Leeds travel to Chesterfield tomorrow, and are set to play a near enough full strength side. I'd expect us to win by a couple of goals.

Benito Carbone has hinted that George Swann may put pen to paper with Leeds Utd, singling him out with special praise via twitter.

    Morning Elland

Let's hope we see a better performance tomorrow. Time for the Hock to prove he can coach the team.

Looks like this signing of Vivani is taking its time. Let's hope it goes across the line as I think he will be a real asset.

Shocking what's happening at Blackpool. Sound like a couple of Kens.

The FL are to blame here I'm afraid, simply because as a convicted rapist Oyston should never have passed the fit and proper test. He was also a bankrupt!!! so again this should have meant he isn't to be trusted with cash. His club were on the brink of administration when Olly got them promotion and the league had to advance them some of the money they would get later, so that they could redevelop the ground to bring it up to standard. The last time parachute cash was stolen from a league club was at Derby, and 3 directors were found guilty and went to jail. Fit and proper I think not, and the police should have been involved last season, not when it becomes too late Just have a think about the Tom Ince situation ... that over rate little shyte has been touted around top European clubs for the last 12-months by his dad Paul Ince (Former Blackpool manager) Instead of going to Milan he chooses Hull? bent and all about payments.

Chuffed if we get Swann because he could be a diamond, because Man City only take good kids and we may end up with a top player like Clayton. Hock will be telling the players that they had better put on a performance otherwise his time and number may be up before week 2 of the new season. It will be good though to get an idea of who is in his thoughts and the calibre of player MC has been bringing in. Any more news on Viviani or do we tell him to fook off

Good morning Matt and co from a yes a sunny Cote de Bardsey
I stated a couple of weeks ago that Blackpool were not in a financial mess due to paying excessive wagesbut due to one man O.I.OYSTON THE CONVICTED rapist, friend of Stuart Hall taking out millions for himself so I'm not surprised at this letter.
I dreamt last night that VIAVANA had signed for us in the early hours of today so I hope I'm right
Now to give you some bad news I think that Sam Byram has probably played his last game for us I think that MC knowing that Liverpool and Southampton are swimming with money is up to his old tricks .It was rumoured last night that Liverpool were taking a very keen interest in our Sam who started this rumour I will leave you to work that out.We all know that the Saints need a full back after selling the best one to MU so what better way to get them to up the ante by bringing in Liverpool into the mix
I bet he anchoring for another big pay day don't forget we have already got a new right back so well done him he's done it the right way round buy first then sell
Sorry to spoil a lovely day I just hope I'm wrong but fear I'm not!

    Good mate, thanks and you?

Yeah at least Risdale seemed to have the club at heart and Cellino is showing signs of that as well. Just don't understand his choice of coach and assistant. Think they may be cheap interim until appointing Carbone who seems to be doing good things with the kids.

    Morning all
Hockaday has already proved to the players he can coach.

How the players perform will not reflect his coaching ability, or are we saying McDermott was a s**te coach as the players didn't play for him.
I think people need to stop slagging the guy off, all he did was accept a job he was offered.

I read the same twitter rumour about Byram but i can't see a club like Liverpool being after him after last season, he needs to prove himself all over again.

The players are not gonna come out and say he's a **** coach if they want a place in the team are they. I'll support the team but the new coaches have no experience in the football league and relegated a conference club. Don't blame the guy for taking the job but think he's out of his depth. Just my opinion and I hope he does a good job coz we will be in a good position. If he does a **** job it screws us over for another season

Morning all. & we think we have problems. Hope Blackpool pull things around. Such a famous old club. It would be terrible if they were to go down the leagues and end up in the Conference.

On Leeds, think we'll see a more determined performance tomorrow. For many players, it's PNR time (point of no return). If they manage to get selected for an already over-szed squad with the likliehood of a few more coming in, they have no one else to blame other than themselves if the Hock shows them the door. If players think h's doing a decent job and that maybe it'll all take time for everything to bottom out and for us to start making progress, tomorrow at Chesterfield would be a good place to start.

Morning Elland, I really couldn't care less regarding other teams misfortunes, we've enough to worry about our own club. We've also suffered a long time and I don't remember many clubs or their supporters giving two ****es about us. BITTER....you better believe it. .

Famous old club - Boggers is right about that, and we have Jimmy Armfield in common with them <ok>

Talking of Oyston the rapist and his pal Stuart Hall, did anyone see the photo's that were doing the rounds when 'Ken Barlow' was on trial? A photo taken at a party in Bangkok saw Ken Barlow (Bill Roach) Owen Oyston, Stuart Hall and Rolf Harris all been waited on by young girls with make up and mini skirts. Fit and Proper my arse, yet the FL go after Cellino, makes me laugh

I think Blackpools problem is good for Leeds - you only have to worry about 2 relegation places now - but unless you buy 8/9 Championship worthy players, I can't see you getting out of it. Rotherham and Charlton are the teams you will be competing with for the other drop zone places, but they have bought far better players than you have so far <ok>

Its awful to see any club in a mess, and that letter just sums up how much damage is being done to Blackpool, I feel sorry for the fans.

As for Leeds, I'm getting fed up with the Viviani stuff. There is a widely held assumption that this hold up is because of Hock/Mansfield, but has anyone stopped to think maybe its just his attitude? Maybe he thinks he is so important to us that we will pay anything and is demanding more money. If so, I'm not so sure we want him. We need players of his level sure, but what happened to Cellino saying we would only sign players who had desire to play for Leeds. Surely this deal would have been wrapped up by now if that was the case...

As for Byram, I'd be stunned if Liverpool took him. There does seem to be a couple of rumours that he could be on his way though, especially as we keep getting linked with other right backs (can't remember the one guys name that seems to come up a lot).

If MC worked his magic and got an inflated fee as he did with Ross, would we be that upset if a potentially crocked Byram left?

Sorry to be negative, but Chesterfield are no mugs and are a better side than mansfield, hope I'm wrong but I just can't see this team of players suddenly upping their game and getting a result. I wouldn't be so down if they got beaten but played well...and yes I know it's a friendly, fitness levels, team bonding, formations, blah blah blah...:emoticon-0113-sleep

Actually in this case Hock has pretty much made it not about fitness levels etc etc.

He's stated that he is playing his strongest XI, so we should be expecting a result. Talk about putting pressure on yourself <doh> I think he's right to play his strongest side, but shouldnt have made a song and dance about it

Morning all. Im of the same opinion as Shaks re Blackpool. Lots took great fun at our demise over the years. We got no help from anyone and particularly the fl. As recent as two months ago, they went out of their way to f** us over again by rejecting Cellino as our owner. Thankfully he had the balls to press ahead or I reckon wed be another Blackpool today.
On the Byram thing, I know its unlikely Liverpool or Southampton would take a punt on him, but after the 11m for Ross, anything now seems possible in the mad world of English football. Dont know how bothered Id be if he's sold. Last season was a dead loss for him but he wasn't in great company. Maybe this season we might see the old Byram. Tomorrows friendly should give us the first clues of what progress we are making, if any, although Ive a feeling, were still quite a few short of our final numbers in terms of signings so I won't be getting excited whatever the result
