Trev's right - we are all wrong. Can someone let Liam, Noel, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo and the music critics know that they are wrong to say that Oasis ripped off the Beatles.
Yeah, I know it wasn't the Beatles. But there is a link there that - laughably tenuous as it is - probably wouldn't have bothered Noel. Wow. That's a cracking chord sequence, but my slavish devotion to the Beatles stops at solo stuff.
No, but plenty of artists down the years have been heavily influenced by him. That doesn't mean they copy his songs verbatim. But you can see the influence, just as EVERYONE else in the world apart from you can see the obvious influence of the Beatles in Oasis's music.
I never once claimed they werent influed by the beatles. I know they were. All I wanted was an example of a rip off song. go on say something about influence again without giving an example of a rip off.
