I've just seen on Eurosport that WBA are lining up a £6m bid for him....

Thats a pretty decent price for a striker of his potential. I know Chelsea may be unwilling to do business with us but thats gotta be worth a look

He was offered as part of the Torres deal before Anelka, right? If we didn't want him then would we want him now?

I like sturrage, but i think the price would be at least double that in the current market. If we could get him for 6m then it would be a steal!!

I think we wanted cash only for torres to make a point that when we sell players we're no-onres mug anymore (this has also been proven by our reluctance to reduce the price of Aquilani for Juve) Sturrage has proved what he's got since then as his form for Bolton while on loan last season was immense. He reminds me of a young Darren Bent

Surprised he is getting offers that low. Surely in todays market he has to be in the region of 15-20 mil.

I say he would be a great addition to our squad :)

If Chelsea decide to move him on, I can see him at either Bolton, Sunderland or Newcastle. He did well at Bolton and Sunderland and Newcastle have some moeny to spend and they both need strikers. I think he needs first-team football more than anything. If we got £50M for Torres, I could see Chelsea trying to get a fair bit out of us if we wanted him.

I saw him playing U21 tournament, he was on of best players for England, for 6m it would be a bargain, I would like to see him playing for LFC.
