fair enough. I don't like shinty so much myself. Its a slower, less skillful version of hurling. Probably just what I got used to.

Maybe we should just make the Oirish ones from Britain back to their homeland and stop them living off decent Britishers taxes.

Yes let's deport them all and leave them to it. Too many of the tattie munchers here as it is. There's plenty of tatties in Ireland these days and even if there isn't you can always get Smash from the local shops.

Go Home Now. And you can take Celtic Football Club and it's inherent Oirishness with you.

    1. Wrong. This rule was in place 20 years before bloody Sunday.

    2. As I said I do not follow Gaelic, but correct me if I'm wrong. Grounds and teams are named after irish terrorists

    3. A fella was arrested and charged for having that word on a t-shirt. I and many other people see it as a derogatory term for Protestants. If you go into most predominantly catholic areas in Northern Ireland, you might find the slogan Kill All Huns.

Do you honestly think that it's a reference to Germans, during the war, or Rangers fans just for that matter. No it is used to label Protestants.

    1. So even though the guy said it was true, you believe he made it up.

    2. Do you think Catholics would be rushing to a sport associated with Billy Wright and Johnny Adair?

    3. So the word lands a guy in court and found guilty but you say there is nothing wrong with it.

    4. Like I said, which you ignored the F word also has no definition rooted in a particular religious denomination, but it is now seen as a sectarian slur.

No. But the Irish posters on here like sword, rebel et al know I'm having a laugh when I say it.

You, on the other hand, are a little Englander bigot and a boring one at that. At least Alf Garnett was occasionally funny.
