You don't seem to be fully grasping what everyone else is saying. You don't have to copy a song note for note to be influenced by another artist just like artists don't copy other artist's paintings but are clearly influenced by them. Both the Gallachers admitted they were heavily influenced by the Beatles. It's in the way they structure their songs, the way they lay out the melody, the use of orchestral influences in songs like Whatever.

yes but it was claimed on this thread that oasis had ripped off beatles songs. They havent. They have ripped off the kinks, stereophonics & probably a few others but not the beatles, not that I know of anyway that's why I am asking for an example. But you have no answer
