Alright chaps? I'm doing a season preview on Leicester for a small student website, and, being a Norwich fan, was thinking you'd probably know the answers to the following questions better than me. So, if you could take a few minutes out to answer the below questions I'd greatly appreciate it! 1. Which young (under-21) player should we look out for? 2. What do you think of the manager? 3. Who should the club sign before the end of the transfer window? 4. Who should the club sell before the end of the transfer window? Answers can be one word if you can't be arsed to say anything more. HFM.
Hey mate 1) We're a rich enough club nowadays that the youth set up is effectively obsolete. Why nurture talent when you can bring in Matt Upson? 2) A good championship manager but very unproven in the prem. A lot of fans have their doubts 3) There are rumours that Eto'o is looking for a club, and he'd very much fit with the current recruitment policy. 4) Being a PL club, we're currently in a good position to haggle over a price for Knockaert. Better to offload him now than have him pilfered on the cheap next season
This joker above is a DQPR fan and got confused about his own club. He is currently wetting himself at the though of Etoo joining the dads army of QPR. Young star would be Liam Moore (England U21) and I feel Tom hopper who is a striker may get a chance if h can avoid injury Nigel Pearson has proven himself at other levels and has built a close knit squad, maybe his downfall could be naiivity if we're looking for faults. We have gotten rid of most we want to, probably Paul Gallager who has gone to PNe on loan As for who to sign, feel we need a too class number 10, no ideas though, leave that to the manager
Thanks for pointing out the intruder to me fellas, although I had my suspicions. I'll go easy on him though, it must be tough being a QPR fan. Matthew Upson had a great season at Brighton last year anyway as I'm sure you know, he'll do a job for you next year. Anyone else got any answers for me?
1) Liam Moore 2) Steady, consistant, stubborn and possibly tactically naive. 3) A decent left back.....Konch will be a liabilily against pace. 4) Don't need to sell anyone but could loan out fringe players like Chris Wood, Conrad Logan & Gary Taylor Fletcher who i only see being used if we have injuries.
1) Liam Moore. 2) Excellent. Oozes class. He's arrogant in a good way, he knows his strengths and weaknesses. He'll have a long and successful career as a football manager. 3) Leroy Fer and Danny Rose. 4) There is nobody that i'd want to sell.
1. Yep - Liam Moore will be a class act but may find game time limited this season. 2. Nige has become a father figure to a large number of the squad, and has built a family feel about the team, that they must look after each other. If you listen to one of his interviews you will get a feel of professionalism. If you think about listening to a second one - then just replay the first! 3. Ideally for me, a defensive midfielder, left back and another striker. 4. We have a smallish squad, and whilst game time may be limited for Moore, Wood, Hammond, King, Taylor-Fletcher etc would expect these to feature in cup games, though some will have an opportunity in the Prem. So, nobody (hopefully).
1) Liam Moore is U21 but Danny Drinkwater is also young and one of the most exciting players i have seen play for the club in a long time - genuine future england prospect in an area of national weakness (CM) 2) Very good and sensible when others would get carried away. His strength is in player recruitment and building a squad rather than tactics but what he did in steadying the sinking ship that we were both times when he took over should never, ever be underestimated for how hard it was 3) ANYONE that is a left back. Why arent we linked with any left backs?! 4) Paul Konchesky. Slow and awful.
1. Liam Moore is the obvious one but Jack Barmby could be interesting of he's included in the final squad. 2. Love the guy. I feel he's really grown as a manager in the last couple of years, adopting a much more attacking philosophy. Unlike some other members I don't think he's naïve tactically. Made some shrewd substitutions last year that helped us see out/turn around games. 3. A versatile full back that could play either side would be ideal. I'd also like another cm option. 4. Probably Dean Hammond for me. Solid enough in the championship but can't see him offering much in the Prem.
I think we may have a spy in our midst chaps, keep a sharp one there´s good fellows. 1) kevin Phillips 2) Useless, inconsistant, never stubborn and possibly doesn´t smile enough, tactically superb & loves an interview. 3) A GK.....Kasper will be a liabilily, 2 left hands that lad. 4) I´d sell the lot & I would keep fringe players like Chris Wood, Conrad Logan & Gary Taylor Fletcher who I only see being used every game.
Well yeah, but Gallagher is already on a season loan and Bakayogo is injured. Neither realistically can be sold.
