This really could be a good signing I reckon. He's a talented player and I'm honestly surprised the rumoured fee is so low.
Glad to have Montero on board. Ever since we started playing 4-5-1 under Martinez, we've known the importance of having at least 3, preferably 4, naturally quick wingers. Dyer, Routledge and Montero give us that, and Emnes (potentially Routledge too) will provide cover on both wings and behind the striker. With Gylfi and, hopefully, De Guzman picking out their round-the-back runs with some accurately placed through balls, we could be in for a barnstormer of a season.
Don't know much about him, but anyone who pushes Routledge and Dyer to be at their best or can push them aside is a welcome addition. I guess we've got a Poz replacement or upgrade is another way to look at it. Big ... you talk about JDG. Is there anything official on him yet.

I was hanging with my friend about a month ago and Ash text him saying that he was at Wembley with Rio for the FA Cup Final. So I cheekily asked him to ask Ash to see if Rio fancied a year at the Liberty. The reply was "no chance". Haha whether that was to asking the question or Rio's response, I don't know!
I think Montero sounds like an attacking utility dream. He can play on the wing, attacking midfield and if pushed, striker. As for JDG, I've not really been fussed. The good things he does are outweighed by the other stuff.
Great signing, from what little I have seen of him. Looked pacey and tricky in the World cup. He was the player a few of us noticed in a pre season friendly against betis a few years ago. Lets hope he hits the floor running. Good luck.

This could be our best signing of the summer so far and at a bargain price. Provided nobody else leaves and will possibly another addition or two, the squad is shaping up to be by far our strongest in the PL.

jack I have seen the likes of Pawel Abbot score quality goals on you tube, i dont get excited by that. They are not going to put 5 missed chances on there. But I dont want to get ahead of ourselves here. Lets give him time before we start saying signing of the season.
Rough diamond a good prospect for us,this only gives us more ammunition in the final third.From what i have seen of him (very little,world cup, youtube clips)he looks pacey and he is not scared of running at people.The only minus to his game seems to me is his final ball or cross.All said excited to have him onboard
