U2 at Glastonbury

Primal Scream are middleweight journeymen and in Bobby Gillespie they have the most annoying frontman in music, a complete tit of a man.

I watched them and thought they were avearge considering they had about 20 people on stage. They are not even Stones Lite, they are Black Crowes lite.

 

they were better than those fannies U2 anyway. they are an embarrassment. bono was wearing leather trousers ffs, saying that gillespie had a tinfoil shirt on

I've seen Primal Scream live 4 or 5 times. One of the best gigs I've ever been to - Hammersmith 2004 on the 'Dirty Hits' tour with Kevin Shields as 2nd guitarist, just amazing. Saw them last a few months back on the Screamadelica anniversary tour - patchy I thought. Some of it was brilliant (eg Come Together) some of it just didn't work live imo. Plus the sound in the SECC was predictably pants.

PS. Their two best albums (Screamadelica & XTRMNTR) are genuine classics and (with the exception of 'Movin' on up') sound absolutely **** all like the Stones.

 

But Gillespie is a fanny?

 

Or even who I "saw" or "want to see"?

I have to admit, it was funny at the last U2 gig when loads of people started wearing those David Mitchell masks.
