Funny how we view things differently. Lovren had a great first season with us but has not really been with us long enough to feel any loyalty to him so I'd be a bit of a hypocrite to expect loyalty from him. Lallana on the other hand....

Bit unnecessary and unprofessional for Lovren to say what he did. He wil learn I'm sure. I am intrigued to see whether he actually comes good at Liverpool. Out of the tthree palyers to go there from Southampton, I think he will get more game time but still worry about his temperament which could be his undoing.

To pull the thread back to transfer rumours, I think Forster and Redmond would both be good additions and if we can get a replacement centre back to replace Lovren I think that will be represent a good transfer window under the circumstances.

Says who Beef? And if that is true then we Redmond would be needed as an impact sub I guess.

10m would be a decent price for him if we didn't desperately need all the depth we have. That said, I'm not entirely sure how he'll fit into a 4-3-3.

 

When he played against Villa when he controlled it, he played deeper.. maybe in the midfield three somehow?

 

I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised or offended if this was because he's requested to be sold. His development has really been stunted here.
