OLM going on the club trip would be a little like an anti allamist selling his book in the club shop :bandit:

Quite right, in fact those of us on 'indie' trips can hit the local boozers after the match knowing we can walk to the hotel afterwards..

Doing the clubs trip, works brilliantly for me regarding work and childcare (hubby's working away next week so that was a concern for me). CTWD trip sounds cracking too and respect to those doing their own thing. Live and let live and all that fellas, far too much criticism on here of peoples efforts to support their team.

You missed the sarcasm then eh? I didn't defend WYP, I just didn't attack them. I also didn't let them stop me going either, even though that's not what they were doing, they were just making it a major pain in the arse.

You also seem to miss the irony in you accusing Chazz of pro-actively praising anything the club does, to irritate those of you who pro-actively criticise anything the club does which is irritating.

My preference would have been to go on the corporate on the team plane, but it didn't work for my mate, there's no bloody mindedness about it, it just wasn't to be.

I've got 24 hours in Eastern Europe, I expect the drive to be 2 1/2 hours, we'll go for lunch, we'll take in the sights, we've got a decent hotel for £65 and a Fiat 500 for £45 and we'll watch the match and get pissed.

    What's not to like?

And from Kosice you'll get to drive through the beautiful Vysoke Tatry mountains.

Just so you all know, Happy Tiger is basically contrary. Some might think he's only been so argumentative since the name change thing.

No, he was always that way inclined. Whatever the consensus,he disagreed. It's what he does, he's OCD, of the compulsive kind.

If 99.99% of us agreed on something, anything, Happy would disagree. He's a good kid though...

I have a hunch he might disagree with that post.

    Definitely.

The clubs package is definitely the best fit for me too, for similar reasons, but in just can't justify splashing out £400 for a very expensive day. I'd like to get a little more from it, namely a cracking good piss up. If the clubs package was flying back the next day, I'd probably have been on it, despite Humberside airport being about 100 miles away and a total bitch for me to get to. For the same cost I will be getting all of Wednesday afternoon/evening, all of Thursday and until late Friday evening to have a good muck about if my plans come to fruition. The time away really doesn't suit me but it's the only way I can justify forking out £400 to see a football match at this point in time.

You can go on the plane the same as the team? I always thought those were private.

So the team fly out Wednesday morning from Humberside OLM? Is that flight anymore expensive than other flights because of this?

Do you think the team will fly out to their first ever European cup appearance in economy class?

It's never happened before, but corporate members were invited to fly with the team for this one.

It's £600, but that also included transfers and the hotel.

    He said, being contrary...

A better description would be "Happy Tiger has always been a staunch and loyal supporter of the club and its owner, well the current one, because he couldn't stand Lloyd and a couple of the others. he has never followed the crowd and having his own opinions seems to upset some of the sheep who enjoy the pack mentality of football which is oft times recreated on these very forums.".

Are you seriously defending PLT's view that everything the club does is ****, and me and Chazz only say we disagree with him/support the club to be irritating? Surely you see the irony as pointed out in my posts before this Kempy?!

    Kid? Heh.
