At least the first three are far more fun to watch than Carroll.

In 'my opinion', Cork contributed more as a whole than Wanyama has, and to let him go on a free at the end of his contract is ridiculous. I've just got tired of the 'yeah but we conceded less with wanyama' argument, when they have different roles in the team. I'd love to see a team with them both in. My 'original' point never who was best, just the value of Cork to our team.

I think Cork had a slightly better season, but Wanyama's the better player. Wanyama had injuries and had to gel in a new team. Wanyama had some dodgy moments in the first few months, but was brilliant in the last 4 games or so.

As we will only be playing one DM, it seems having three might be unnecessary!

Well well. Maldini played into his 40s so I guess it's not that big a shock.

I don't see the point in debating our midfield as surely a centre back, a left back, a striker and a winger are priorities. If we can then get a midfielder great but we have far greater deficiencies to fill first.

Been linked to making a bid for Clasie so there is a point.

I'm tired of hearing "Hitler was a c*** because of the 2nd world war and that" argument

Cork & Wanyama competed for the same role in the team which is why this debate started a year ago. The fact you think their roles are different illustrates what Vic adds to the team

OK I should have been more precise. I don't think that getting rid of Cork or replacing him is a priority, I would much rather strengthen and add depth in our weaker areas coupled with the fact that I think we need to keep a core of players and I would rather we let noone else, except Lovren, leave.

    Forster/ Boruc

    Clyne/ Chambers.
    De Vrij/Yoshida .
    Fonte/Hooiveld .
    Targett/Kongolo (Can't see Rojo coming)

    Wanyama/ Cork

    Morgan/Reed.
    Clasie/Prowse/Davis

    Tadic/Redmond
    Rodriguez/Davis/A youngster

    Pelle/Ings

8 new players. Guan says 6/7 so not far off that I reckon.
