    I quite like him, but he is very direct and maybe needs to add another dimension to his game, however I would rather we added players such as himself, Ings and De Vrij (please!) as they can develop whereas Vlaar or someone like that is not a long term investment.

    Agree Davis doesn't have much attacking 'flair' but don't underestimate the value of his ability to play a first time, 5-10 yard pass that creates a chance.

    And he's always busting a gut to get into the 6 yard box if a keeper parries a shot. If we had shot from outside the box more over the past season and a half he may have scored more goals. He is also involved in EVERY counter attack goal/chance we have.

    We scouted Sporting Lisbon an awful lot last year and we were all led to believe we were looking at Eric Dier but maybe it was really Rojo. <ok> I know he's a player that Liverpool fans were pretty sure was coming to them before the world cup. We shall wait and see :biggrin:

    We need to be a little cautious with that statement by a non-native speaker. He says that Morgan is not on his way out; he is on holiday. That doesn't say he is not going or he is going. So please let's not melt down if after returning from holiday, Morgan talks to the club about the new signings and potential signings and decides he wants to leave. (the little french bastard), or he returns and Koeman talks him through what is likely and he stays (the elegant, anglophile, gallic beauty)

    He needs to come back from his holiday first, before we start to take note of what is said...
