Real Madrid and Barcelona are propped up by overseas fans. You see way more Real Madrid and Barcelona shirts overseas than any English clubs shirts! They are "THE" two clubs worldwide as far as plastic following fans are concerned!
meh... thats just one aspect but you can't keep spunking this sort of cash. we've seen barca fail to pay players and get fined etc and then bascially bribe their way out of sanctions.. I simply feel that if the spanish economy and banks go we are first all f'd but i can see real and barca and other spanish clubs effectively owned by the spanish government. it only takes one bank to start the house of cards come crashing down. that portugese bank for example put some scare through the markets recently.
Helps that they can sell their own TV rights. Means those two can make all the money themselves and not have to share it with the other 18 clubs in the division, unlike in the Premiership.
The part about mattress makers wanting their destination was a demanding team is pretty standard but Johnson competing for RB???
Its just an arms race with Barca and Real. They have to match each others 'marquee' signing. What neither club seem to realise is that defending is also part of the game. Both were beaten to the title last year by a team that knew who to defend and balance that with attack over the course of a season. Both Barca and Real are top heavy. Barca are forced to play DM's at centre back and Real have got a huge hole between midfield and defence. Should lead to some big score lines.
Does anyone understand Spanish, can they read the original and give a quick summary , i lost it at the matress makers
It seems like we get him for a two year loan, with an option to buy, and we only have to give them the Anfield Record Player in return.
It sound like a weird deal, how do we benefit? Not sure as we've several lads in the right back slot and if he's for left full the best we can say is we are trying for potential not for a player for today I dunno it seems to me atletico get their player out and could return to thier team at least more valuable if not a first teamer while we seem to just get a punt on a might be Who knows it could be a brilliant spot how would I know before seeing the guy in action
I'm surprised too. Just don't get it. Maybe something's lost in translation. Hope he works out better than every other loan we've had recently!! Now sign a decent feckin LB!!
Did any cover this from lfc website? Liverpool have announced that Andre Wisdom is to spend the 2014-15 season on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
Bought a Barca shirt, or my mum and dad did for me because I picked it, from some small local sports shop on holiday in Menorca many years ago. Was when Kappa still made them and there was no sponsor. Haven't got it anymore.
