excited to see Siggy coming back. considering the quality Spurs have got he did well there but with his vision and decent crossing ability he will be an excellent partner for Bony/Gomis and an excellent replacement for Michu - cant wait! also considering weve got decent back up for Davies its a good deal for us - good luck to him by the way and hope he does well for Spurs

I hope and believe you're wrong imo, his wiliness to support , create the build play and gets into the area makes him an ideal foil to Bony ,he can and has scored from many differing positions and is willing to take a shot ,something which without Bony we've been sadly lacking .

"The Gylf will storm next season, sliding passes through to the strikers and smashing in long-range efforts. The prospect of him setting up the likes of Bony and Gomis is very exciting, and the return of this impressive player can only be good news for the Swans as they try to maintain their status as an established Premier League side."- Scottswan

    That's how I see it too!....................<ok>

Boundy a good signing and will have game time. Whether he is worth the 10m we have paid I am not so sure. Lets hope he can do what he did here 2 seasons ago. Time will tell. happy to have him here.

I have to agree on the price which is too high but if his goal return is any where near what he achieved at Spurs considering the game time he actually played then you'd have to say a price worth paying ?

Well I'm happy to see us get a quality player in Siggy. Very disappointed when he went to Spurs, but looking forward to see him back here. Not only that his wife's not to shabby looking either. :)

Siggy scored 6 goals last term from 35 appearances in all competitions. Spurs website stats tell us that he played 2072 minutes. That's equivalent to playing 59 minutes per game. Which is equivalent to making 23.3 appearances. 6 goals from midfield in just over 23 games is a good return last season.

I don't have the stats from the season before to make the same comparison.

I am absolutely disgusted. But not surprised -amateur hour keeps going.
Remind me, who promoted and kept faith with Ben?

Glad you worked that out. Not a bad return 1 in 3 from midfield. 9 or 10 this year then please.

However, making 23 appearances shows how much he was thought of.
what was that noise? Yes it was Daniel Levy p*****g himself laughing.

Incorrect. This is Tottenham we're talking about, not Rochdale United (no disrespect to any passing Rochdale fans). He was being kept out of the team by Clint Dempsey in the first season, a Spurs legend, and then Christian Eriksen the second season, who is absolute quality.

I'm absolutely gobsmacked at your reaction to a quality player signing for the Swans.

Haha true that. I'm getting ahead of myself. But I'd hope that we've said to Spurs that the deal's off for Ben if Siggy doesn't want to sign here.

Siggy's passing accuracy is far more impressive for a midfielder than Michu or De Guzman, and this is important to our game especially operating in areas further up the pitch which we struggled with last season, and given our pass and possession style of play, Siggy's precision in distribution in the final third is clearly an aspect that has made him suitable for a return, and I welcome him back with open arms, he will be key to unlocking defences, and his eye for goal outside the box is far superior than De Guzman, and not to be sniffed at, well done Monk, good bit of business!...............<ok>
