Manchester United ‏@ManUtd 23s Patrice Evra has left #mufc to join Juventus. Everyone at the club would like to thank him for his many years of excellent service. beat Matth And Woodward has left the tour
Evra leaves United to join Juventus Patrice Evra is leaving Manchester United and has agreed to join Juventus after eight-and-a-half years at Old Trafford, the club has confirmed. In a message to United fans on ManUtd.com, Patrice said: "After a great deal of thought I have decided the time is right for me to leave Manchester United. It is the biggest decision of my career as this club is, and will always remain, in my heart."
Not really - I think if anything the attempt to tie the two deals together just hindered the progress of the Vidal deal without having any influence on its outcome. Like Liverpool trying in vain to link the Sanchez deal to Suarez - all they did was delay the final sale until Sanchez snubbed them and then sold Suarez anyway. And it's not like we're using Evra as a young promising make weight in the same position as Vidal, or like his transfer value was going to make up a significant proportion of the fee! If we get Vidal it will be because we have decided to meet Juve's asking price (which we should without a shadow of a doubt), not because we threw in a 33 year old in as well!
Well tell Woodward to get his head out of his arse, will be nice to finally see a proper box to box general at the heart of Utd's midfield should you sign him
When you compare the quality of that team with the team that finished 7th it isn't hard to realise why you finished so far behind.
That team was the best in Europe to be fair. Even the Barcelona of 2011 or Bayern of 2013 would struggle against that team.
Dunno. Our 2008 side was also a perfect team just like the barcelona and bayern sides mentioned. 3 best sides in recent history.
