BBC suggesting a straight swap for Gylfi - how on earth is that a good deal for us!? Spurs signed Gylfi for a then inflated £8.5m (when we had ~6m agreed). He has hardly set the world alight there, so his value must have diminished some what. Davies was beig touted a minimum of £10m - so surely it should be Gylfi + 4-6m, plus a sell on clause on Ben!?!?!?!? Not happy if this is a straight swap - upside on Ben is potentially huge.
Oh well , got no probs making money off of Davies but to just get Siggy for a straight swap I wish we'ed just keep Ben .This overpaying for players to attract deals speaks volumes about our ability to attract players .

The reports I read didnt state he might join Laudrup, they said Laudrup was interested in him. Big difference. Bony has clearly stated he would only move to a top 4 club for Champions League opportunities

How true it is i dont know, but heard that Vorm will sign for Spurs for 2.5m. If this is true what the **** is HJ plaing at Levy has well and truly had him right over on these deals.

Totally agree. Ben and Vorm for Gylfi and £2.5 million? If that's the deal, Jenkins has sold us well and truly down the river. The man must be a raving lunatic if he thinks that's good value for us. In my book we've been shafted for a MINIMUM £5 million. I'd like to see him justify this. It's looking like Levy, a hard nosed professional[/B ]business negotiator, has treated Jenkins like a country bumpkin and walked away with our club's cash. Nice one, Jenkins. Not!!!
There have been so many rumours regarding fees for Ben and Vorm plus Gylfi, how about we wait until the deals are wrapped up and confirmed before having another opportunity to give Huw a good kicking. This is a very strange move by Vorm, knowing that he will be the number 2 at Spurs and will hardly play unless Hugo gets injured. Maybe it's £2.5 million for Vorm and maybe Huw has had a few million knocked off the Gylfi price or had a few extra million added into Ben through add ons or something. Until the tranfer details are revealed it is all speculation at this point.
I agree Valley we shouldn't speculate. Re Vorm it wouldn't surprise me if Levy sold Lloris for hefty price tag in January.
