Mirror & The News reporting we've made a 1.5 million pound bid for Martin Paterson of Burnley. Good striker, scored 19 Championship goals in their promotion season. Struggled with injuries a bit last season.

Seems like a lot of money, but if true I reckon this is a fantastic transfer. Him & Varney up front will be a lot better than Kitson. Also shows the owner's a looking to splash a bit of cash.

    Fingers crossed people. PUP.

This would be a brilliant brilliant signing (as long as he is still the player he was pre injury).

Where have we got £1.5million to spend though I wonder?

I can see Kitson being used as a super Ginger Ninja sub if we pull of both these transfers (Varney and Patterson).

I think you've confused yourself a bit Matt. Didn't he score 19 Championship goals before promotion to the premier league?

Keep spending the money boys but keep your fingers crossed that your Russian owners haven't forgotten the CVA!

Renege on that at your peril.
