Ramsey may well have been good but I'm with Astro here. If I refer to a neutral player such as Ben Arfa; we were linked to him for a couple of windows but I constantly said I didn't want him. Talented as he is, he is simply injured too often. Closer to home; Agger is the same and I've been saying for a few years now that we should cash in. No point in having a top quality player if they aren't available, I'd rather have a fit and consistent performer like Hendo, Finnan or Milner!
Ozil had had one season in the Premier League...some players need time to adjust, I remember Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo didnt exactly set the world alight in their debut PL seasons. Ozil has won La Liga, Copa Del Rey, FA Cup, World Cup and is regarded by many managers to be one of the finest midfielders on the planet. Lallana has a Championship runners up medal...........
all that proves is its easy to win things when you are surrounded by quality players in the real madrid and german teams, he isnt the player who makes either team tick was/is he, also wining the fa cup, well helps if webb is ref i suppose still, he is a lot lot better than lallana, but has helped he has been surrounded by genuine quality, and i do think he will have an impact this season for arsenal, but i think sanchez was an important signing for them that will make more of a dif than him personally.
ozil has never played 90 mins for real either. he is consistently not a 90min man and suffered burn out by christmas with arsenal. If arsenal want to get the best out of that lad they need to start subbing him off..... none of that is disputable IMO... lallana is a poor we fella who's never had the chance to play at real Madrid and pick up all those medals on the back of ronaldo, nor has he been carried by bayern stars to a world cup final. Just cos lallana is not worth 25 mil and was bought by lfc for that.. well thats not a reason to disparage him before he's had a chance to kickball at a higher level and neither should he be compared to a passenger at big clubs
Generally speaking, you dont get in to teams full of quality players unless you have some kind of quality yourself. I think I will stick with the opinions of Joachim Low and Jose Mourinho over you guys
