If I remember correctly, one of them used to tour regularly with Albert King, BB's brother. They were all good.
That was Johnny, he also did the IOW in the early 70's, think 72, I was meant to go but got the virus from hell. Just been listening to "One last Cold Kiss", Mountain, clever song and class. Did you know that Felix Parralardi used to produce 'Creams' albums. God I'm waffling here, on to Dreams of Milk and Honey, my kew to Piss off & say cheers Jozy, a man of my ethics..

I admire you mate, would love to go to Frisco. Do you remember a band called Mountain? Played woodstock in 69 and had a few great albums, the pinnacle of my music was Leslie West, Felix Papparlardi & Corki Laing together, truly superb. All these years on, I email Corki regular and vice versa, sound sound man and still a fcuking great drummer..
Nantucket Sleighride. Nice little 15 minute live version in my all time top 3. Sure it was used on Tvs Weekend World show. Not the full version obviously but brilliant record.

Cream another great band. Badge. Sunshine of your love etc. except for " Pressed rat and warthog" from the "Wheels of fire" album. Wtf was that about?
Born in 71, my first memories are the Morris Minor Traveller outside of our flats and the song ''chirpy chirpy cheap cheap''. I love late 60's music..the Zombies, Moby Grape..
This thread is making me feel very old, I was at the 1970 Isle of Wight festival when the Taste and Hendrix were on.
Hendrix is my favourite of all time but he was rubbish on the IOW, he only did one more concert before his death.
Taste were fantastic and the stars of the show for me were Jethro Tull.
I remember hitch hiking down there, not getting washed for 3 weeks , then hitching back to Durham and getting on a bus to Sunderland wondering why people were giving us strange looks and moving away from us, great memories.
I had to burn my clothes when I got home, Levi's were f---king minging.

I was right into Dylan the folk singer, then went off him after the New Morning album but in the last twenty years have been collecting all of his work and only then did I realise what I have missed.

It was mate, an absolute classic clip. I just wish sometimes that Harrison had put the bottle neck down and finger picked, he did a lot that night.

I think the real star of that concert was Peter Ham from Badfinger who later tragically committed suicide. He supported/lead both Dylans and Harrisons set then and played his own with Badfinger.

aaah cheers mate, brilliant. I was a bit young for Badfinger but I remember their single well, about 68, I later learnt they had a very good guitarist. My bad about the "Byrds' bit, I just love their version. The early Neil Young stuff and 'America' were my influences as well. Saw Tull at Stockton ABC in 1971 and that was me and music welded..

Sad thing is mate, even then i was only 9. Although i have took a great interset in the punk scence since. It was all bollocks, and edited for tv..the great punk bands like crass etc...never needed media coverage.
I'm more of a old skinhead/ska type fella, but with a passion of psychobilly music.
Hell VJ this brings back some memories still love the very beginning of fire and water and every track on that album. I remember when i met our lass all i posessed was a wrangler shirt a pair of levis some baseball boots and a flying jacket from the second world war ( probably worth a fortune now but mother threw it out when she found it in the shed ) I used to go to sleep listening to Burt and john or pentangle. How the hell did we get so old, enjoy yourself while you can com you jammy young git.
