http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ake-6-5m-bid-Watford-striker-Troy-Deeney.html Oh bugger - bids increasing....
Rejected. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11355936.Watford_turn_down_Leicester_s_bid_for_Deeney/
Lots of stuff happening with Deeney, Leicester have offered 6.5 million plus add ons. The add ons I presume is Andy King whom Leicester have valued at 3.5 million. The Pozzo's have outright rejected the offer(quite right when u consider what Luke McCormack went for) and placed their own bid for Andy King valued at 1.2 million. Leicester should bear in mind that an £18 million bid from Tottenham was rejected for Vydra so good luck to Leicester on this one
"We understand the Foxes’ offer was turned down as it is considerably less than the club’s valuation of the player." I wonder what they do value him at? £10-12 M would be my guess.
Genuinely think the story is aload of crap. We're about to sign Leonardo Ulloa for 7M rising to 10M Fraizer Campbell is also a very likely possibility Add to Nugent, Vardy, Wood and Taylor-Fletcher we don't need more strikers if the 2 above sign
No less than McCormack and probably more I would hope! I'd agree with you on 12 million - but i still hope we don't sell.
I noticed we made a bid for Andy King who is a good player so maybe they'll to do a swap deal with Deeney? Whilst King would be useful think its important we really try to keep Troy. After all we have a lot of midfielders but not many strikers.
French midfielder Kevin Tapoko is playing tonight on trial for us tonight against Wealdstone. Team: Bond (GK); Young, Johnson, Brown, Doherty; Smith, O'Nien, Tapoko; Rosenthal, Jakubiak, Fabbrini
Kevin Tapoko is still only 20, but has been around a few clubs. Played in the French 1st and 2nd division and since then has been in Switzerland and Belgium. While in France he played for Le Mans who had a nice shiny new stadium built, and then found that they got into financial difficulties because of it. The FFL took away their license to operate as a professional club. They can be very strict here if a club doesn't stick to the budget they have to present before the start of the season.
Another signing confirmed.... http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/140724-keith-andrews-signs-for-watford-1777492.aspx
