Instinctively, I don't like censorship but, unfortunately, there are a number of situations when it becomes necessary. I fully support the mods in whatever decision they choose to make. I can see from their efforts over time that they have done a hard job very well indeed. They have a thankless task (for which they receive my thanks...) and we don't need persistent rule breakers to make their job any harder.
I have just posted this on the QPR forum music thread but will post again here for anyone who does not visit that thread. Here below is a copy of my exact words. I would like to just get this off my chest for the record being I started this thread. I'm not really comfortable with anyone being banned as such. I will always respect the super-mods decision's on this site and I would also like to add that I think Roller and Ninesy do a fantastic job on our forum and get paid sweet FA for their valuable time on here. I want you also to know I have never made any complaints to any mod or super mod whoever they are about any posts on this thread or about Andy. I hope so far anyone who has visited the QPR forum music thread has enjoyed their visit and long may that continue. Peace!
Well I obviously have missed al the fun and games today. Dont know what was said or posted but I'll just put my support and trust in our mods. Andy was a character and some of his comments were close to the knuckle and a bit racist but personally i chose to ignore or laugh at them (and him). He obviously has his beliefs and doesnt seem like he's going to change them anytime soon. Thats up to him The rules are there for all t see and if he cant stick to them then the mods have no choice. Shame to lose another poster really !
There are 2 of us super-mods on here & we ban posters when asked to by forum mods. We have always passed ourselves off as brb (male Gillingham fan) & Minxy (female Posh fan) ..... we do not act on PMs from posters .... we either ignore them or pass them on to their forum mods We don't act as Big Brother as most posters are so boring, it isn't worth our time ..... however I may be mentioning Sword to Santa for his list of naughty boys Now we have been revealed as blood thirsty, extra-terrestrial, shapeshifting reptiles ..... things may change
