My mate told me that Moreno deal was dead. We'd never get Barklay.

Shame about the Moreno....we clearly don't think he's worth the extra couple of million. The Barkley comment was just a spot of fishing..... <ok>

Judging by the appalling disloyalty some of your new signings have shown to their former club, I'd say you have a team full of ****s.

Not that I'm bitter. Just a bit concerned that if we beat you again at Anfield, you will once again respond by tapping up half our players.

If they develop their potential... Absolutely <ok>

The reality is that we need to keep our feet firmly planted on the ground and more importantly that the players do that...We have seen too many young players thinking they have made it after one season and living life as superstars. They then fall by the wayside and have disappointing seasons after a good one. I am thinking about Sturridge, Sterling, Flanagan. They can be much better than they currently are but the risk of them going backwards is real...<ok>

well IMO once a kids kicked a ball for 50-100 games for a first team they don't generally go backwards

Sterling (19) - has a lot of games under his belt now. he is now a 20mil player (like it or not)
Coutinho (22) - Is top talent IMO
    Markovic (20) - already a 20mil player
Can (20) - got him cheap IMO
Iliori (21) - not at the same level as above.
Ibe (18) - again very raw and not that ready.
Suso (20) - good player, has not go a position he's focused on is my issue
Henderson (24) - probably already at his potential
Sturridge (24) - as per henderson. is a 230 goal man if fit
Sahko (24) - just has to deliver at a new club. imo at his potential already just needs to perform over a year to show it
Flanagan (21) - playing above himself
Teixeira (21) - set back by injuries, a sumptuous player. needs games and a loan IMO
Wisdom (21) - Needs to work hard from here.
Smith (20) - injuries set him back, i don't see him being a total success but rodgers likes him
    Rossiter (16) - good kid.

IMO the first 4 are really the heart of our strategy. they have the game sunder their belt they can go right into the team.

Theres 3 in there who are sneior first teamers who i don't see getting loads better

there are 5 players (Ilori, ibe, suso teixteria and wisdom) who are good lads but need more games under their belts to really make rodgers trust them over the others he's got. lets face it they might get on as a sub but woudl rodgers turn to say ilori if he's got an injury and pithc him in? can't see it. Suso and wisdom have more games under the belt but the question is not to me to to rodgers... is it enough games now to be first team squad.

  15. Fair point but he's still our player and as young as some of the ones you listed :p

I reckon we could get more out of him so long as he stays fit <whistle>

I'll add him. Reckon I'll be removing him pronto though! <ok>

As for 230 goals...that'd be 50 more than Fowler! But nowhere near the mighty Rush! (346)

don't interpret the fact that you've shed 2 ****s to us to mean all 20 lfc players are ****s.

in fact that kind of maths is probably why you lot went bust the first time round <whistle>

Well, fittingly, everybody forgot poor little Allen (24)...

Mito makes the great simple point these young players fall into 3-4 very different categories with very different expectations attached upon them.

Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge, Henderson, Allen and Flanagan...

Coates, Kelly, wisdom, ilori and Suso...

Ibe, texeira, Rossiter, branaghan, coady, smith, Robinson...
