He came from Roma so surely its Pecorino Romano?
I don't understand why we quibble at paying £20m for Moreno but are ready to spunk it on Lovren? While he is a tidy player, who gets dropped to accommodate him? Either Skrts or Agger to stay on the bench (big wages just sitting there), or Sakho (£18m potential star just sitting there) or Lovren is backup (then why spend £20m?).

have a feeling agger will try and be sold, something about his body language doesn't convince me he is staying.

probably be a rotation between Lovren,Skrts and Sakho, with Wisdom and Kelly as backup if needed.

Lol, not Borinis fault, he signed a deal to play for LFC not Sunderland. His work rate isn't an issue so merely Rodgers now doesn't want him that's Rodgers problem.

Maybe he believes he can do a Henderson and prove BR wrong, not likely with both Suarez and Sturridge at the club but with Suarez gone he might think it's possible....he seemed genuinely happy to be at our club.

And I thought Rory was quite funny yesterday, we all know he's a manc but he thanked the crowd for supporting him anyway.

And "easy course" is bullshit or at least irrelevant as of all the big under par scores his was still the biggest. He was that far ahead at start of play yesterday he didn't have to hit top gear to win. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sure I like his personality but you can't dispute he's already one of the best golfers there's been and all world class sportsmen have arrogance about them.

Lol, in his winners speech he said jokingly, "as you know I'm a United man (crowd boos, Rory laughs) hold on hold on, I'd just like to thank you for supporting me anyway "

The only other "bad" things he did was get a spectator who had heckled him all day ejected at the 16th and didn't sign a 12 year old who'd snuck into the enclosure programme at the end. But poulter later explained via Twitter that it's against the rules to sign autographs before submitting your scorecard. Strange rule but sure.......

    Hahaha, he won't like that.

  10. I saw the autograph thing and he's being harshly treated with that IMO. The kid shouldn't have been there as he'd broke beyond the barriers to get where he was, plus it was Rory's security guys that stopped him too.

Why did Rory say he was a Man Utd fan? And before someone says "because he is", I mean what relevance did it have to the speech?

Because the crowd was largely from Liverpool. The commentators had joked about it a few times over the days as well so it must have been in his head too that a largely Liverpool crowd has cheered him on despite being a manc loving t**t lol...

There was a lot made about his ex being a Liverpool fan and when they broke up the support she got on Twitter etc from fellow reds. He maybe felt like the pantomime villain and just played to it a bit.

They were playing the Open in Hoylake near Liverpool. Think he was just trying to add a bit of a comic touch to his speech bringing up the rivalry. Fair enough imo.

  15. Fair enough. Seems strange to mention it in his speech though, especially if he knew that unless he wanted to play up to the crowd <laugh>

Because it took place at 'Royal Liverpool' FFS <doh>

    #6757
  18. Got that bit already, keep up <doh>

Still doesn't have relevance to a winners speech unless heckler was mentioning it of course.

The thing being made of not signing that kids book is pathetic. He couldn't if he wanted to as by the time he had looked round one of the security guys had told him to **** off!

A good source has told me Agger is going. He has sold the bar he owned in Lark Lane and he has just finished building his new house at a cost of several million ....in Spain.

It could be a very expensive holiday home, but I think he is off.
