I don't think anyone has any problem with people criticizing Hamilton so long as it doesn't descend in to a poo flinging match as it almost always has a tendency to do.

Anyway... As for his bumps, yeah they were a bit sloppy, but he didn't take anybody out and if anything hampered is own car more than anything. It's a another case of his impatience that trips him up from time to time. But that aside, he drove a good race.

Does anyone know of any fuel flow stats that are published online? The graphics that were displayed during the race seem to suggest Merc and Williams are using less fuel in their Merc engines than the other Merc teams.

I seem to remember reading that only Merc and Williams have the 'works' spec engine. So I am interested in finding out the tech spec.

Massa was sloppy today, and to put the blame entirely at Mags door was shameful. It seems he can't accept his failings which is why it probably keeps happening to him.
Bottas challenging Alonso or the award for beating a team mate by the most <ok>

    Last straw?

Quite honestly, I am surprised that this race was the first straw for you. Maybe you should spend your time watching something that you are intelligent enough to make an accurate comment about, assuming of course that such a thing exists.

So Sky F1 showed nothing of the race apart from Kravitz in the garage?

    Are you being serious?

I watched the race from start to finish. Every single lap.

    Never mind.

People that follow F1 and understand it do not need commentators to inform them about what is happening. It does not matter to me what country I am in so long as I can see the race and most followers know more than the commentators.

You remind me of the people that became distraught by the presence of Lewis Hamilton's dad on tv.

They claimed that 99% of the TV coverage was him and only 1% was the actual race.

He might rethink that after watching it back.

I found it amusing that he said the driver behind was to blame, surely that means he is saying he was to blame for canada.

I suprised the Mag Massa incident went unpunished. When a driver takes such a narrow line into a corner, it is obvious that they have compromised their line, speed and exit - factor in cold tyres and brakes and it becomes a molatov cocktail. I'm not sure what Massa could/should have done considering he had approached the corner in a more considered racing line, even if the contact hadn't happened at that point, it would have likely happened on the pair exiting.

My my biggest gripe in racing is the theory they if you get your nose to the appex in advance of another you are entitled to the corner, it's not a simple as that.

shock, horror, people criticizing Hamilton or Sky's sycophantic Hamilton love in, getting rounded on by Not606 members, how unsurprising.

    par for the course

Nothing wrong with a bit of muscling through. :)

Massa should have continued a wider line rather than taking the apex and hoping nobody was there imo.

Hamilton should just come to Indy... It's the only way to balance to the board. :)

I wonder how on fire forums would have been if the internet was around during the Prost v Senna days.

I agree, but IMO Mag would have made contact anyway at some point through the corner. Alternatively he would have had to hold the brake for so long that he would have been a sitting duck, either he compromised himself. This may be the reason why a driver might not have expected him to be there?

Chances are that Magnussen would have had a slow exit from the corner and gained a total of zilch. IMO, Massa should have anticipated a car coming up the inside on a start and taken then safer option. He'd likely have kept position and maybe gone on for a podium. I think he cost himself today.

Sorry but this is possibly the most pointless season of F1 i've ever seen, who are we supposed to applaud, some Mercedes guy who decides how much power each of their drivers is allowed to use? Mercedes have done a fantastic job of making the driver irrelevant.
