Wisdom to WBA was confirmed yesterday by Rodgers. Reus is more realistic given wages. He'll be on and want less than Di Maria. Would much prefer Reus as well, offers more of a goal threat.
Also got Tex who plays in that role as well. Coutihno/Suso/Tex are all very similar so if we were to get 1 in then I'd expect Tex to probably go on loan as his first team chances would be very limited.
Markovic is much like Sterling and can play across the front 3 attacking midfield positions. The likes of Reus can play upfront and out wide, similar to Suarez and Sturridge. Markovic has also just come in and can't be expected to start every game.
Markovic is young and new to this country, and also a lot like Sterling. Him and Sterling will rotate a lot.
Lovren deal close: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...ool-IMMINENT-after-Southampton-accept-16m-bid
Does Lovren play RCB or LCB and is he right footed or left footed? Just interesting to see if he would partner Sakho?
sounds like they have just accepted now the player wants to leave and tried to get a bit more money than he was probably worth, but now settling for probably a near enough price swap for this Vlaar player they are after.
Believe he's right footed but pretty comfortable on either side. Would seemingly partner Sakho long term but probably with Skrtel/Agger at the moment.
Boring has gone on the us tour to try and fight for his place at Liverpool. I wouldn't be counting on him going after all. Really could use that money
He played on the left but is comfortable on either side. I hope he treats you better than Lyon and Southampton. Class player but one likely to stab you in the back, I would put alot of the developement of Shaw down to Lovren, giving that feeling of safety knowing there is a rock behind him. You have paid top dollar for him (again), but should improve your team. We have a few right backs which you are lacking if you wish to pay another 20 m .
If we get a new owner who wants to asset-strip our club and makes our manager leave then Lovren's attitude will be the least of our worries We'll probably all be winging too much about the size of Lallana's thank you note in the Liverpool Echo to notice anyway
So Lovren, Lallana, Can, Markovic, Lambert and Remy in. Suarez, Aspas and maybe Borini out so far. I'm happy.
Id be more concerned if Lallana tells your board that he will never play for Pool again, 3 months after telling everyone he wants to stay his entire career. In every job we are all mercenaries, you offered more money and CL football (for 1 year anyway) and we could not match that so he left. You have added some players that are very much on a par with him, so its 50 50 if he is a flop or not, not to worry as we have replaced him for a third of the price. I bear no grudges, but I hope he fails
