agree, i don't think he is a bad defender and he has potential, but going there will be less pressure for him and he may blossom as a result. they have a Uruguay player already, so should help him settle, be on the south coast and have the money to buy a luxury boat etc happy days. have i sold it yet
His injury may have ruined his chances of a decent club taking a risk on him unfortunately. I can see he clearly has very good technique, and his height is perfect for a CB. But he always seemed far to nervous when ever he played for Liverpool, and his lack of games in Rodgers first season suggests a lack of hard work in training to me.
Isco. Rumours he will depart Real to allow room for this summer Galactico James Rodriguez. We are bookies favourites. This ofcourse has all already been mentioned. I can honestly say I'v barely seen him play. I'v seen him come on as a sub for Real and that is it. Tell me about him. Should we sign him? Where would he play? (AM, CM, WF, F9, WM?) How much would he cost? Is he the level of player we really need in?
i have seen him a couple of times and thought is that what all the fuss is about. not sure he would add much to what we have already, should be looking for better in my opinion, although he may be another one that could do well for us as has a point to prove to others he is good enough, and we may benefit as a result. i know he had a lot of potential at one point, but how many more of them do we need lol. cost, i am guessing he is another in the bracket of £15-£20 mill.
Saw him a few times at Malaga and he had a brilliant season when Cazorla left. Plays AM so would be competition for Coutinho I guess. I'd guess around £20-£25m give he's not played too much. And in terms of level, yes, he's certainly a step up in player compared to some we are being linked with.
Apparently it might be a loan for Isco. Wouldn't be too bad.. hopefully better than the lat loan we got from them though. Only thing is, we need to have a clause of an agreed price to buy if we want to.
Isco is really good, very similar to Coutinho and Suso and probably better than both. Would be an upgrade, but if only on loan it could disrupt the other two, especially Suso who would be third choice.
yes i see your point, but all 3 are quite young aren't they and would be ok with using Suso for cup games with rotating Coutinho and Isco for league and cl, BUT only if an agreement is made to buy after loan ends. quality competition never hurts esp when young, i just question if he can get the form back that he originally showed.
I'd prefer to see a wide playmaker I think. Henderson and Coutinho are a good, well balanced midfield pair.
I agree but when the competition means your bottom if the pile you have to question where you actually fit in. Personally I would start Coutinho and bring in Isco when he has a poor game, with form drops and injuries Isco could then be a starter. I wouldn't take off Isco for Suso unless he was injured or we were winning 4/5/6-0 and needed squad players to come on. I really like Suso but he hasn't done anything so far for him to even compete with them two.
I agree. Personally I think Di Maria should be top target. More realistic than Reus. Sky are now reporting the Wisdom West Brom loan. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...fender-andre-wisdom-to-join-west-brom-on-loan I see Wisdom taking over Skrtel's spot in the future.
