A contract is a contract. Prozzy is honouring the contract that was placed before him. He is doing nothing wrong. SB, scouts and Admin. should b.......k each other out for this mess, not the player. By the way, exactly how much game time did Prozzy get to demonstrate how awful/good he might be in comparison to Danny Graham? Something is badly wrong here and it is not being dealt with in an honourable manner. Would it have been oh so terrible to bring him along to Portugal? Does he not fit in from a personal perspective or is it a consequence of being ostracized from 1st team football? His confidence must be completely shattered. Does anyone know anything about the guy - does he socialize with or converse with anyone at the club? All I hear on this board seems to be speculative - "he has a bad attitude" etc. Is there any factual information out there that could point to why such a bad relationship between Prozzy and SB (and/or others?) has materialized? Any response stating merely that he is crap, period, is negated imo by the "favouritism" shown to DG who was given an inordinate period of time to amply demonstrate his poor quality.

If he put the effort in then he would have played more, simple as that but all he ever does is whine.
All players get the chance to show what they can do on the training pitch and in every game they play.
If they don't get picked for the first team then the only reason that can be is they are not proving themselves to be good enough.

Moving prossy would probably free up enough budget to bring bendtner in. Whatever you think of bendtner, surely it would be preferable to have him on the bench rather than having prossy sat on his arse at home.

Proschwitz needs to man up, and ship out.

Sorry Nick, it just hasn't worked out. Don't be a bitch about this.

I don't see why anyone feels sorry for him. He's old enough to deal with it, 'specially if it's true about him acting up.

If your employer paid you double what anyone else would and you gave weekends off would you 'man up and ship out'?

    He's no Jimmy Bull****.

I honestly think thats where Bruce went wrong. He looked at his height and thought he'd be a 'lead the line good header type' wheres he's the exact opposite who likes to drop deep.

False. He's a top pro. If that is a rumour doing the rounds i fear the club are starting a smear campaign.

Its not Nick's fault he's not good enough, it's the manager's and scouts' fault for thinking he was. Id be surprised if we watched him 5 times cos the way he was used clearly suggests we thought we were buying a different type of player.

It's not the same as a career behind a desk though is it?

He's a footballer who will be judged, primarily, on his performances. He has been left in no doubt that he won't get anymore here, so what can his future in the game be judged on after that?!His attitude? Well that's been called into question recently.

You can't compare it to a normal job. These are vital years in his career he will never get back. He needs to play to salvage his career, so that means going somewhere else. I could be out of work for 10 years but still be deemed suitable for a filing job or road sweeping.

Clubs just won't have an interest in him if he chooses to sit on his arse taking the money.

Disagree. This time next year he'll walk into a job earning £120k a year. I dont see anything wrong with banking a million for the next year while he can.

The club has managed the Prosser situation terribly from day one when they lied about his fee.

The main reason Prossy is not moving is that others will not pay the same wages, so if he does move City will have to swallow part of his wage themselves. That will eat into money available to bring another in, like Bendtner.

I find ironic how fans kick off at players when they try and force a transfer, but when it's the other way round fans are like 'good on the club standing up to the player'.

Clubs can be just as big bastards as players when they want rid.

Very very good point. When a player goes on strike trying to secure a move to a bigger team paying bigger money he is roundly despised and a greedy bastard welching on a contract. When the club tries to secure more money by forcing a contracted player out it is strangely acceptable.

    Remember this but not accurately.

Did they publicly claim they spent circa 2.5m when the real fee was around 1m?

Precisely that. I was informed from an impeccable source and posted this on this board before his debut.

Has he played since the Boro away game in the cup?

Remember he scored and then celebrated almost angrily towards the dugout. It looked like he was making a point about not having been picked enough. We discussed it on here at the time and some felt it might piss Bruce off. Looks like it did.

Funny, I've heard he's a right cock. That is from someone who has dealt with him first hand on numerous occasions.

Ive dealt with him myself on numerous occasions.

Anyone remember the nice photos of other players with their arm round his shoulders? Yeah, they all hate him...

I take the points about being on the money he is and it not being his fault.

He does, however, appear to display a troublesome temperament (that is my opinion, based on what I see and what I hear) and I just think it's time he ****ed off as he is clearly of no use, and I'd like to think as a footballer, he wants to play. Maybe I'm naive.

I think it is a disgrace that he has been treat this way because without him we 100% wouldn't have been promoted to the Premiership.

He scored a goal in our cup run, came on against Ipswich and got us 3 important points and scored the equaliser in the last game of the season against Cardiff.

He was never given a fair chance right from the beginning but when he was given a chance he did come up with some vital goals.

Obviously he isn't the sole reason but without him Warford would have been in the Premiership we would have been in the Championship and all the great things that have happened to the club wouldn't have happened.

I would have love to seen what he could have done if he was given a chance and given a era fitness regime.

However. If he has been a arrogant prick with a bad attitude then you don't want him distributing the tight knit group we have.

He is a legend but without him the landscape of our club would be vastly different.

I thought you were being generous from the start of your post, but gave you the benefit of the doubt.

That, however, is in another league!
