Top Call Sir Barney, the forums favourite toff has been shouting about it for a while and it went in as he claimed it would
Christ, fair play to Mclrroy, looked like bottling it but then just smashed the last 5 holes, leads by 6 and surely has it wrapped up now, that eagle on the last was class
So much for the IF races – two out of three of them went to the IF horses. Very easy for Tiggy Wiggy collecting a valuable pot. Does that make the Royal Ascot winner look better than average or has Richard Hannon’s charge just beaten trees in a sales race?
After Sir Barney a big well done to Stick on Tiggy Wiggy, from Rons thread he called it as a wheelbarrow job and to be fair it could have won pulling the wheelbarrow. What with Rons Music Master the forum is in fine flat form today, well done all.
Well done Barney. I fully intended to include that one in my Betting Bank (with one saver) and bloody forgot
It will be one of those special parties Ste, you know the type they all wear eye masks and canoodle with each other surrounded by nothing but the most discrete of butlers and housekeepers.
8 45 Newmarket - TILSTAR 9/1 Interesting, been a nice little bit of money for it, in from 12s George Baker travels all the way there for just this ride, course & distance winner and only 1lb above it's last winning mark, Rogers horses in good form as well
Lingfield apparently have Ladies evening tonight. A tradition started at Royal Ascot now seems to have been adopted by every course as if devoid of all originality themselves. Why? When the marketing man who you pay to come up with marketing initiatives just says lets have a Ladies day you should slap him and ask if that's the best he can do, where will it all stop. Nothing quite beats Aintree's ladies day however, if ever the trades description people needed to get involved that was the day.
Trouble at the Curragh. 3yo fillies being made to wait around because Volume has illegal shoes. Some getting het up as are their connections, some of whom feel Volume should be withdrawn.
