O/T Holiday

As I gaze out of my window, fearing the BBQ I've been invited to this afternoon will be cancelled due to rain... I'm looking forward to my family holiday in Aug.

Anyone else going anywhere sunny this summer??

Not gonna lie, I'd love a week in Europe at minute but I can't fit it in. Meh.

 

Got a fortnight in Tenerife 16-30 Aug before flying out to the Middle East on 31si for 4 months (or so) with work.
Not long left of this 'rain' stuff for me !

I work for the MoD marra..
The jobs vary.. I set up 'secure' communications circuits for evolutions such as Counter-Piracy.
Normally 4 months at a time but the last 2 have been 6 monthers

As everything marra... Interesting at first and now it's just an inconvenience between times at home.
It keeps the missus in Smirnoff & Thornton and the kids in 'gadgets' ... Just !!!
Sometimes .. I'd love to be a lollipop man!!

You know mate, I've had in my head from a very young age that when I finish working, and enjoy my life, all the graft, the inconvenience will be worth it.

You know, some days I'd love a turn up, turn out lifestyle with no worries, targets, planning, but then, where does that leave you in later life?

That's what keeps me motivated like, keep pushing, then sit back and enjoy it.
