Yeah nice one, make a joke about ****ing idiot foreign owners running a club with 110 years of history in a disgraceful manner. I thought if one club might've offered solidarity on this it would be you.

How the **** did i 'give it out'? I didn't come on here with brash claims or insults, I responded with facts to a criticism of a team who were perceived to 'mass defence'. I didnt make the first criticism.

And would you have a sense of humour if your owners tried to change your club's name? There didn't seem to be a lot of 'lightening up' over your previous Yankee Doodle owners achievements. You came out the other side in good health, i hope Hull City do.

Is 1 in 1 out not good if its an upgrade and we make a profit over all from the move?

The answer is yes its good. Remy is a good, quick, skillful and flexible striker/wide forward.

He will add some goals and spark, which ill in some way help towards making up for Suarez. No one player alone will do that.

Ah hang on here..... Wait and just think

"Moses, Aspas, Suarez, Luis Alberto, Assaidi*, Borrini*"

    Moses was awful
    Aspas was anonymous
Alberto was too lightweight and hardly got a kick
Assiadi and borini were both out on loan!!!

So if we have replaced them all that's FIVE new players who can actually play not waste our time (I hope)

So while Remy and lambert are head shakers compared to Suarez at least both can play in the prem as they've proved

I don't like either signing nor lambert but come on guys they ain't total muck like aspas and moses

Just because you scored 3 against us doesn't mean you were an attacking team. The fact you had one of the better defences and lowest scorers suggest you were defensive. Chelsea beat Arsenal 5-0 but they still weren't called attacking. One game doesn't sum up a season.

Nothing wrong with that, it meant you stayed up and that's to be applauded but it was a fair comment. We need a player that is capable of scoring against those teams that sit back and defend which is what Hull did, even in the win over us, and even more do in the defeat!

Yes it's bad about the name and do on but it's a bit of banter. 99% of fans don't want to see what you're going through but doesn't mean won't get jokes about it.

Boys, I can tell you you're getting a good player.......when fit. He instinctively knows where the goal is and if you can keep him fit then he'll have no problem netting 20-odd goals a season for you. He likes to drift out wide too and Rodgers could play him there if and when the situation demands. Again, there's question marks over his injury record but when we signed him in January '13, he pretty much played all our games to the end of the season and was a quality player in a sh*t side.

I recall this finish in particular from that period. Look at the replay and how he struck the ball. Good player.

I always remember Remy for that goal.

We are getting a quality player here.

I remember that goal. Quality strike. Thought why the hell are you shooting from there, so nonchalantly with side of his foot and then it flew into top corner.

I think the fact he can play centrally or out wide is a real bonus and part the reason why he's a target.

Out of all the strikers we could have realistically signed, this is probably the best signing we could have made.

If we're looking for a world class player to spend the suarez money on it should be a midfielder imo

Arsenal fans are in #meltdown about it for some reason

AFC_MADNESS: I believe we still need a cf. We could hijack Liverpools for Remy but highly unlikely. I believe the player would choose us if offered #AFC

goonercody: Genuinely think the bin dippers are panick buying now. Remy is good but he's no Suarez. If we had wanted him that badly he'd have been ours.

Liverpool have done great business, almost to quality players per position in midfield and up front:

    Gerrard/lucas/allen
    Henderaon/can
    Lallana/courtino

    Sterling/markovic
    Sturridge/lambert
    Remy/ another signing

Throw in ibe and suso in fa/league cups.

Think you still need a cb, lb and another wing fwd then you will be a complete squad challenging on 4 fronts
